[player_tooltip player_id='243916' first='Victoria' last='Valle'] continued to prove she's one of the top perimeter scorers in the 2027 class. She shot the ball well over the weekend, consistently knocking down threes and making defenses pay, especially when her point guards were double-teamed. Valle's range was deep, allowing her to impact the game from well beyond the arc. At the Sunshine State Showdown, she played with confidence and control, scoring from the perimeter and by attacking the rim. Valley also showed versatility in her ability to operate at both guard spots, capable of running the point or playing off the ball and making plays at the two.

[player_tooltip player_id='515064' first='Kathleen' last='Crawley'] shot the ball very well and showed she can contribute beyond the arc, in the midrange, and in transition. At the Sunshine State Showdown, Crawley stayed involved within the offense, made plays within the flow, and competed. She is a career 43 percent three-point shooter, and she was every bit of that at the Showdown. Crawley consistently knocked down shots from the perimeter throughout the weekend, punishing defenders who double-teamed her guards and left her open. Crawley is a multilevel scorer. As she has demonstrated in the state championship setting, she can also pull up in the midrange at a high rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='823892' first='Jadyn' last='Watts'] contributed as a steady guard presence, staying engaged within the flow of the offense and making plays when opportunities opened up. She handled the ball well, made sound decisions, and helped keep things organized on offense. Her ability to stay involved, make reads, and contribute without forcing the action allowed her to be an effective piece throughout the game. Watts has the ability to rebound and stay active on the offensive glass.. Watts is one of the best shooters in the State and is at her best when the ball moves and finds her in rhythm.

E'Miah Fields impacts the game with a smooth, controlled presence and an unselfish approach that elevates those around her. She attacks the rim with confidence, finishing with poise and a soft left handed touch. Fields has the ability to score with either hand on the break — a skill that makes her especially tough to defend in transition and in traffic. From the guard position, she rebounds well, showing instincts and effort on the glass, then quickly turns those possessions into opportunities by pushing the pace. Her court vision stands out, consistently making good reads and delivering the ball selflessly to teammates in scoring position. Offensively, she has a silky smooth left-handed jumper, giving her versatility on the offensive side of the ball. Fields overall game flows with purpose — efficient, composed, and impactful on multiple levels.

[player_tooltip player_id='755321' first='Eadyn' last='Rivera'] controlled the game with poise, doing an excellent job of managing pace and keeping the offense organized. She showed the ability to knock down the three from the corner while also distributing and keeping teammates involved. Her craftiness with the ball stood out, especially in how she created opportunities off the dribble. Defensively, she applied great pressure, generating steals and immediately converting those into transition layups. Her impact was felt most in key moments, including a game-winning steal and finish that sealed the victory. Rivera is a true floor general who influences the game on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='515062' first='Summer' last='Stone'] showcased a polished mid-range game, a smooth looking jumper from behind the arc, and an ability to draw fouls and get to the free-throw line. She played with confidence and control, and was clutch down the the stretch in the game I observed. Stone displayed speed and athleticism and was active on both ends of the floor, contributing defensively while also staying involved on the offensive side of the floor. She stepped up in key moments, delivering important baskets down the stretch. Her ability to operate efficiently in the mid-range, get to the rim, set up teammates for open looks, and impact the game on both ends made her a strong contributor and opened eyes around the state of Florida. Stone is a wing player whose stock will be on the rise after this Grassroot season.
