Jadynn Watts’ (cover) progression has been steady and expected, evolving naturally from her freshman year into a more complete and impactful player. She’s added strength, particularly on the interior, allowing her to score through contact, handle physical play, and get to the free-throw line even more consistently. Her offensive arsenal remains a key asset to her game, with the ability to score in the mid-range, consistently knock down the three-point shot, and attack the rim with purpose. Defensively, she’s tougher and more engaged, and overall, her all-around development has elevated her into a higher tier. With her combination of size, skill, and physicality, Watts is positioned to become one of the more sought-after big guards in the state this upcoming grassroots season.

She connected on several threes, and ripped into the midrange for a few pull-up jumpers, showed a soft floater, and finished through traffic with composure. Watts is a sniper from deep. She doesn’t need much space to light it up from behind the arc. She showed her ability to scorch the nets during the July Live Periods and kept her Essence team in plenty of games due to her ability to knock it down from deep. A player that can score at will and take over on the offensive end. She seems to heat up as the game goes on.
