About Anna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 5’9” high energy center, who focuses on hustling back on defense and working in paint. I can create good shots for my teammates with strong screens and high communication.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a “play until the end” mentality. To me the score is always 0-0 and I work until the final second. My main goal is to keep the energy high on my team, whether it’s in practice or a game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in NHS, FFA, and symphonic band. I’ve received numerous awards over the years in both FFA, band, and in my academic classes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership skills by learning how to work with a team, be a positive influence, and focusing on the end goal of everyone being successful. Through go my experiences working with different teams, I am able to adapt to whatever role I need to fill. I know leadership comes in all forms and it’s not always about being the one in charge.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced challenges with injuries, harsh mental setbacks, and family troubles. All of which I’ve worked through and continue to do so today.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a Dll-Dlll, 4-year college that will provide me with a high education as well as a competitive basketball program. I would like to attend a school in Michigan or Texas with a larger campus.
