The following players represent the greatest gainers in this current sophomore class. A strong season saw them rocket up the rankings in our latest update.

[player_tooltip player_id='898190' first='Gianna' last='Sano'] | St. John Vianney

New Rank: #14 | Previous Rank: #55

Budding confidence has transformed Gigi's game from freshman to sophomore season. She's a pass-first point guard with qualities of a combo guard, as she's able to score it reliably when called on. Her 3-point shot developed into a legit weapon and her court vision was the sharpest I've seen from her to date! One area of her game which really contributed to this boost in rankings was her commitment to defense and her willingness to defend the opposing team's best player. Her 41-spot ascension is one of the most notable in this update.

[player_tooltip player_id='1232429' first='Charlotte' last='Hunzinger'] | Pingry

New Rank: #18 | Previous Rank: #96

The biggest riser in this class [jumping 78 spots], Charlotte exponentially increased her production from last season. She stepped up to the challenge every game, with Pingry playing a very difficult schedule that included top tier talent both in and out-of-state. She notched sixteen double-doubles and averaged an impressive 14.9 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 1.1 APG, 1.0 BPG & 1.5 SPG and was one of only a handful of players to average a double-double.

[player_tooltip player_id='914275' first='Allison' last='McAndrew'] | Colts Neck

New Rank: #26 | Previous Rank: #47

Allison toughened up this season and put her best foot forward. She approached the game with added physicality and confidence, helping the Cougars win the CJG3 sectional title and compile a 23-7 record while averaging 14.1 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 2.1 APG & 1.4 SPG. Two area which saw the biggest improvement were 3-point shooting and effort on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='913917' first='Calista' last='Vowteras'] | Manasquan

New Rank: #29 | Previous Rank: #64

Calista proved herself this season as Squan faced one of the most difficult schedules in the state. A formidable two-way game saw averages of 9.9 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 2.0 APG & 1.7 SPG and was the key factor in a Group 2 state finals win over Caldwell. A sharp basketball acumen and impressive court vision helped the Big Blue Warriors put together one of the most memorable seasons in program history.

[player_tooltip player_id='913932' first='Elaina' last='Kraybill'] | Egg Harbor Township

New Rank: #33 | Previous Rank: #60

One of the most physical and versatile forwards in this class, Lanie played aggressive inside and out, showing off a strong well-rounded game. She averaged 9.5 PPG, 13.8 RPG, 1.9 APG, 3.5 BPG & 3.4 SPG. One of the state's leading rebounders, she controlled the glass and outworked opponents much taller than her. She showed confidence handling the ball and the ability to effectively switch between multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='982734' first='Jiselle' last='Lennon'] | South Plainfield

New Rank: #39 | Previous Rank: #72

A flash in transition, Jiselle burned through the defense and got downhill with the quickness! Improvements in her motor, defense and finishing around the basket saw upped production of 14.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 1.3 APG & 2.7 SPG. Her 3-point shot was consistent and her effort was always at 100, two key factors that helped her team navigate through a rebuilding year.

[player_tooltip player_id='902241' first='Adhara' last='Blanc'] | Dwight-Englewood

New Rank: #43 | Previous Rank: #79

Adhara's two-way game was explosive, averaging 19.8 PPG & 5.4 SPG to help the Bulldogs go undefeated in the NJIC National. She took it to opponents with crafty ball-handling and multi-level scoring that forced defenses out of their comfort zone. Her competitive fire burned bright this winter, especially in a 36-point career night vs Holy Angels.

[player_tooltip player_id='913948' first='Kayla' last='Williams'] | Lawrence

New Rank: #57 | Previous Rank: #100

One of the most ferocious rebounders in the state, KJ fully established herself as a formidable post presence this season. She led the way for Lawrence's turnaround season, averaging 11.7 PPG, 14.5 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.4 BPG & 3.2 SPG for the 15-12 Cardinals. Sharp anticipation and strong box-outs made for a ferocious FIVE 20+ rebound games. She was able to stretch her defense out to the perimeter and also drop down to anchor the paint. Her 43-spot ascension is a testament to her work ethic.

The following players represent the greatest gainers in this current sophomore class. A strong season saw them rocket up the rankings in our latest update.
