She plays at her own pace and in control when the ball is in her hands. Holiskey is more than capable of playing moving off the ball, effectively attacking closeouts. When she gets into the paint, she does a good job of keeping her head up and finding teammates open for kickouts. Brooke was also very disruptive as a defender. She’s got quick feet and covers ground at a high level. Holiskey is a disciplined defender, which keeps her out of foul trouble. Brooke’s versatility as a combo guard is key, and her development should be fun to watch.

Holiskey was absolutely dominant on Sunday, and it’s not an overstatement. Handled the ball-handling responsibilities all day and ran the show like she’s been doing it her entire life. On the offensive end, she is a walking bucket. There were multiple possessions where she left me shaking my head, wondering how she did that. Silky smooth mechanics, gets good jump, and lets it fly with complete confidence. Her handle is elite, can create separation on the perimeter, gets to the basket, finds her mid-range spots, and slashes with an explosiveness that makes her nearly impossible to contain. Once she jumps to the ball on defense, it’s a wrap, she’s taking it the other way. A great rebounder who battles in the paint and plays with a physicality that shows up on both ends. Defensively, she was equally dominant, played every possession to the final whistle, shut down their best player, and swatted shots almost every time someone dared to bring it into her airspace. As complete a performance as you’ll see.

Holiskey showed strong composure and control as a lead guard for Loudoun FLEXX, consistently handling the ball well and keeping the offense organized. She stood out as a facilitator who made smart decisions with the ball while creating opportunities for teammates. Holiskey also displayed confident shooting touch, and her smooth form made it clear that she puts the time into developing her shot.
