The PGH Michigan State Tournament was a slam dunk again this year, and that's a testament to so many great prospects giving their all throughout the tournament. Seeing new prospects stand out, while having the opportunity to further evaluate familiar prospects, has been an absolute blast throughout the spring during PGH Circuit competition. Many clubs featuring talented prospects from Michigan and states across the Midwest competed at the PGH Michigan State Tournament. She had the look of determination and her aggressiveness stood out immensely during the game. Lyla raced in to secure a rebound, switched hands comfortably in the open court, protected the ball like a running back driving through contact on her way to the basket, got fouled, and made both free throws. Her pesky pressure on the defensive end generated steals and she was productive on the boards. Lyla went by using a quick rip move from the wing to hit a contested pull-up in the paint and made a great transfer for a catch and finish layup with her inside hand in traffic. One of Lyla's highlight plays was a full-speed drive by where she changed hands to score a strong and-one layup with her left hand, then knocked down the free throw to complete the three point play. She's a crafty, elusive, quick, and skilled two-way point guard to keep on your radar.

Lauren has athleticism and length as a guard that immediately catches your attention as a next-level prospect. She was a complete difference maker for Dream Loudly 16U Karasinski throughout the PGH Michigan State Tournament. Her aggressiveness and impact continued against elite competition. She took the ball hard to the basket, absorbed contact, then finished with an and-one bucket. Lauren buried a mid-range jumper, dropped in a jumper over a defender using a smooth high rip move, and was an active rebounder on both ends of the court. She used her length to block shots and create steals on the defensive side of the ball. Lauren made nice entry passes to teammates inside, attacked with a dribble burst to score confidently with either hand at the rim, and was a threat to score in the mid-range and beyond the arc. She took a steal coast to coast, switching hands to elude defenders, and covered ground in a hurry for the layup.

Kendall has the combination of mobility, skill, and height that translates to the next level as a forward. I noted her length, and she was very impactful for KBA 17U Academy throughout the PGH Michigan State Tournament. She's difficult to box out and worked hard to get inside position for multiple offensive rebounds. Kendall showed her ability to knock down perimeter jumpers and converted free throws efficiently after causing fouls in the paint. She makes smart basket cuts and has the versatility to play inside or pop out to the perimeter.

Kortlynn is a forward on the rise, and she's been putting up impressive performances on the PGH Circuit with CCE 17U. Kortlynn is an excellent defender with length that gives her a lot of next-level upside. She rotates well to mitigate high percentage looks at the basket, closes out on the perimeter to disrupt shots, slides well to stop drives, and blocks shots emphatically in the lane. Kortlynn finishes strong with either hand off two feet and is a very effective rebounder.

Lauren was a two-way playmaker in the back court for [program_tooltip program_id='1831436' first='MBA' last='[program_tooltip program_id='952340' first='The' last='House']'] 17U at the PGH Michigan State Tournament. She has a strong, athletic, muscular build that gives her a physical edge against guards. Lauren possesses skilled ball-handling command with both hands, sees the floor, and gets downhill. Lauren has sharp instincts on the defensive end and makes the effort plays. She dove for a loose ball, used a quick spin move to get to the rim, and pushed the ball with pace after intercepting passes. Lauren immediately looks to score, uses fast pushout dribbles with both hands in the open court, draws help defenders, and dumps the ball off to open teammates for assists. Her aggressive ball pressure forces turnovers, and she creates space to drive or pass using shifty inside-out dribbles.
