- player_tooltip player_id=”124869″ first=”Elle” last=”Evans”] is a 6’1 2022 Wing from Edwardsville and Blue Star Silvey. Elle is a very tall and long wing that can affect the game in many ways. I think there are people, and I have to admit that I am one of them, that mistakenly pegged her as just a shooter early in her career. Despite her thin frame Elle has shown she is not afraid to be much more than a shooter. She gets many more offensive boards than I expected and does the little things like get on the floor for loose balls. Elle could really benefit from additional strength, but she really gets production out of what she has. She is shooting almost 70% from 2 point range and 85% from the line for the summer despite being a bit off at 33% from behind the arc. Elle is a player that could really blossom as she develops her body.
- Ensley Tedeschi is a 6’0 2023 Wing from Benton and the Semo Sizzle. Ensley is a long and athletic wing that competes very hard on the court. She uses her length well on the defensive end of the floor by getting her hands on errant or weak passes. Ensley runs the floor hard and can score at all levels. She does a good job of getting to the rim and finishing over the top of smaller defenders. Ensley has a nice shot that she can also hit on the wing and out past the 3-point line. With her her length and athletic ability Ensley is one to watch over the next three years.
- Abbey Schreacke Abbey Schreacke 6'0" | SG Quincy Notre Dame | 2023 State IL is a 5’10 2023 Wing from Quincy Notre Dame and the Inferno Elite 16u. Abbey is a matchup nightmare for many teams. With her height and length it is hard to find an athlete that handle her inside and outside. Right now her best weapon is her pull up jumper. Most girls cannot handle her getting downhill and then stopping on a dime to rise up for a jump shot. Abbey is deadly from the 15 foot range on this shot. She is also a very good volleyball player and has the jumping ability that she uses well on the basketball floor. If Abbey chooses to put the time into basketball her ceiling would be very high.
- Alyssa Cole Alyssa Cole 5'9" | SF Nashville | 2022 State IL is a 5’9 Wing from Nashville and the Semo Sizzle. Alyssa is what I call a power wing. She is very strong in her lower body and has grown up playing in the post so she knows how to navigate down low. This weekend she was able to play with the Semo Sizzle and got the opportunity to show her perimeter skills. She has worked hard to improve her outside shot and her game off the bounce. Neither are perfected yet but both a very good weapons for her. Alyssa brings the ability to rebound from the 2/3 spot with her strength and she adds the dimension of being able to post up a smaller player. When she attacks the rim Alyssa is comfortable going to either hand and finishing with either hand. She is definitely one to watch as she continues to develop her game.
- Blair Eftink is a 5’6 2023 Guard from Quincy Notre Dame and the Inferno Elite 16u. Blair did a good job of showing her abilities in last weeks tourney despite still working her way back into basketball shape. She did not start the summer with the Inferno team so she is still acclimating to the team and getting back into basketball mode. You can see she can shoot it from everywhere on the floor and really excels in the mid range pull up game. Blair is also a high level defender that takes on the top player on the other team and finds a way to slow them down. One to watch going forward.
- Kylie Kisner is a 6’0 2023 Forward from Carrollton and the Inferno Elite 16u. Kylie is a multi dimensional player that can do well in the post but has also shown some skills away from the lane. She does a really good job in finding good spots to post and establishes good position and presents a target. During her high school season Kylie plays with another big so she has shown some skill there to step away from the lane and make some plays. Kylie will run the floor hard and is an above average defender and rebounder. She plays with a motor and has heart so many coaches would be drawn to her. I believe Kylie can play at the next level, her improvements will determine what level. Coaches at the lower levels looking for a stretch 4 should certainly have their eye on her.
