PGH Carolina Freshmen Showcase: Team Four Competitors

"Bree" showed that she could step out and knock down shots on the perimeter or cut and post smaller defenders up on the block. She rebounded the ball well and had to mix up her defensive game by guarding smaller guards and bigger post players. She could be the primary ball handler and get her teammates involved by penetrating and pitching to them for open shots. She also showed she could be a dominant scorer by using a hesitation move and then attacking hard and finishing at the rim with both hands. Trinity impressed all day long with her superb moves. She did a spin move and finish on the left side that got the crowd going. She followed with a behind the back move that had scouts mouth opened. Then, she displayed her strength once again by cradling the ball and finishing with contact between two defenders. Her length and athleticism make her a prime target for the next level if she continues to improve and be more consistent with her finishes. She shows consistently that she has nice one on one moves and can get to the rack. She can catch and finish with her back to the basket and she showed some potential from the high post area. She was mainly passing and cutting to the block but her strength allowed her to get good position and find ways to get easy points. She was trying to create for her teammates and get them into a flow of the game. She uses her body and strength to try to get past her defender and if she can keep finding ways to increase her quickness on her first step and ball handling she will become more of a scoring threat. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
