After averaging double figures as a freshman, Wadley is ready to continue to ascend during her sophomore campaign. The coach's kid background is clear because she's not just a scorer, she's well rounded. Plays smart on the defensive end. Offensively, she's capable of handling the rock and running the show. Or setting up off the ball and being a bucket getter. Strong around the rim for her age, is a good finisher through contact. Add in her stop and pop ability in the mid-range and there's a lot to like about the young scorer.

Powell has the natural talent and the opportunity at Metro Christian to have a huge sophomore campaign. Promising athlete and with her plus wingspan, she plays bigger than her 5'10 listing. While also having the long term potential to defend along the perimeter. Dominating on the glass and being efficient around the rim are good bench marks for Powell to impact winning for a Metro team that is replacing quite a bit of production. Consistent shooting, especially if she can match her older sister, will be a key area to track for her long term development.

Last season, Kirk was a regular contributor for the Lady Indians. Which included the school's fourth straight trip to the Class 3A State Tournament. Quality shooter from three, with textbook form and release. True combo guard traits with the handles and simple but important passing help compliment her shooting. Is a balanced player with good effort on the defensive end. Hustles for loose balls and brings a country style grit to the court. Kirk is set up for a bigger sophomore campaign for the eastern Oklahoma 3A power.

Painter is a prospect who does a lot of little things, which consistently adds up to a big impact. She shines with her energy and physicality around the basket. Makes her presence known on the glass. Also has a good understanding of angles and getting into position to defend without fouling. Is more than a blue collar battler around the hoop, has promising touch on her jumper. Including all the way to the three point line. And can put the ball on the deck a bit. Will be an interesting name to watch as a potential key depth piece for Bixby this winter.

Holt was watchlisted heading into her freshman year based on the expectation for her being an instant contributor. She did just that and based on her performance at our recent expo, she's due for an even better sophomore campaign. It was great to get an in person viewing of Holt, because it further reinforced her quality athleticism. She is tough to stay in front of, with a quality first step and good overall speed. Which she compliments her natural athleticism with a well drilled game. Expect big time things from a talented scorer.
