Just one senior departs from Carroll’s program, as the Tigers won 12 games a year ago. [player_tooltip player_id="164961" first="Laura" last="Sweeney"], [player_tooltip player_id="165015" first="Kennedy" last="Lein"], [player_tooltip player_id="164946" first="Ella" last="Collison"] and Gabriella Hammer are all back as starters with several others seeing playing time. Collison and Lein each scored over 200 points, with Collison also grabbing 109 rebounds. Sweeney led the team with 66 assists and 46 steals. Hammer, Sweeney and Reicks combined for 89 made three-pointers.

Following an unbeaten regular season that included winning the River Valley Conference North division title, Cascade was stunned in the Class 2A semifinals by Osage. The Cougars will need to replace leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id="134340" first="Nicole" last="McDermott"] and a talented group of seniors. Junior starter [player_tooltip player_id="129036" first="Ally" last="Hoffman"] is back along with Faith Bower, Alyssa Lux, Taryn Hofman, Megan Smith, Devin Simon, Sydney Weber and Elizabeth Gibbs. Hoffman scored 213 points, shooting almost 42 percent from the field with 29 made three-pointers.
