Despite being a mite undersized, Maddy goes under bigger players, thereby mitigating the opponent’s strength. She handles pressure with ease and sets up the defense to get her teammates easy buckets. She uses her passing ability to open up drives. Maddy is even dangerous on the offensive boards for put backs.

If any player thinks that 1 day or 1 event like the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 can’t have an effect on their image as a player or their recruitment, just pay attention to the day that Terry had in Grand Rapids last month at the Top 250. I’m convinced that we had her very underrated for quite some time. What the number is now compared to what it was before is only part of the story. Terry showed at that event that she can flat out play the game. She brought energy to both ends of the floor and picked up some big defensive stops. She’s a solid shooter that can fill it up from mid range or from behind the arc. Terry showed a level of grit and toughness that can’t be taught.

Terry had herself a day in Grand Rapids. Quite frankly, she was one of the most impressive shooters in the gym that day. She had a quick release with absolutely zero tentativeness.
