Wallace did a lot of things very well at the Top 250, and shoot the ball is on that list. Her stroke looked confident from deep and I saw her slice it through the net leaving little doubt as to whether it was going in.
Raska did a nice job getting set and balanced on her three point shot. She looked confident and ready from the corner. Raska will hit a lot more of those over the next 4 years.
Belcher-Arill is one of the most impressive shooting guards in the state. You might not find one with more strength and grit than her. Don’t let that physicality fool you, because she stepped behind the arc and buried some threes.

Terry had herself a day in Grand Rapids. Quite frankly, she was one of the most impressive shooters in the gym that day. She had a quick release with absolutely zero tentativeness.
Highlights
Reese Williams Reese Williams 5’8″ | CG Colon | 2024 State MI is another player that turned some heads at the event. She shot the ball extremely well from all over the floor, but specifically from 3 point range. Williams found her shots in the flow of the game and delivered.
Linden has the ultimate point guard’s skill set. She can catch fire from behind the arc and hit multiple 3’s at the Top 250. Linden’s range extends well beyond the arc and she can connect anytime a defender isn’t careful.
Gerald is going to be a dangerous post player in the state of Michigan. She did a ton of work under the rim, but she definitely showed range on her jumper as well. Gerald bried a 3 from well beyond the line.
Highlights
Parker can flat out shoot the ball. She a dangerous shooter from basically anywhere on the floor, including from 3 point range. Parker was able to connect in Grand Rapids last weekend.
Cleveland was an impressive shot maker in Grand Rapids. She had the look of an athletic shooter that could create her own looks from 3. Cleveland was comfortable shooting from the corners.
Merritt made the most of her looks from beyond the arc. She waited for a feed shot ready and caught it ready to go. Merritt looked incredibly comfortable in a catch and shoot scenario.

Abney made a statement with her jumper, especially on one 3 pointer in particular. She buried a huge clutch 3 in a tight ball game. Abney shot it like there wasn’t any doubt that it was going in.

Bolton was tremendous at creating space for her three point shot. She could break down her defender and fire up an impressive shot. Bolton was one of the most athletic shooters at the Top 250.
At the Top 250, Standfest proved that she was a threat to score in so many ways. Not surprisingly, the 3 point shot was one of those ways. Standfest must always be accounted for by the defense.
Valencia hasa a reputation as a player that can fill it up from deep. She certainly lived up to that reputation at the event. Valencia’s stroke looked smooth and she was focused and balanced throughout.
Cumming showed that she will be a player to watch this year and in the following years. She has varsity ready strength and a very nice jumper to go with it. Cumming will be a dangerous high school shooter.
