Being named a Top Performer is a distinction that began with the PGH Circuit coverage. The Top Performers title has now grabbed it’s place in the Top 250 as well. Let’s take a look at the players that were named Top Performers at the PGH Michigan Top 250.
Washington was one of the top 2 way players at the event. She made good decisions with the basketball and forced turnovers with her ball pressure all day long.

Standfest has been playing really good basketball and that trend continued on Saturday. She showed off a well rounded game by rebounding bigger than her height, scoring, and defending.
Williams was coming off a solid grassroots season. After seeing her at the Top 250, it was easy to see why she was having that success. Williams made winning plays all day.
Tornes is underrated as a ball handler. Her skills with the ball allowed her to make plays and create space at the Top 250.
Jungwirth is a terrific prospect. Her strength combined with her smoothness and ball skills help make her a unique and special player.
Linden is a leader through and through. She was just that at the Top 250, with both her game and even drawing plays.
Jackson is even more athletic in person and year by year, she keeps getting faster. Her ball handling was also improved. Jackson is developing into a very nice prospect that could help a team at the next level.

Highlights
Montgomery has a lot to offer as a prospect. She’s athletic with the ball and had some impressive acrobatic finishes, even drawing fouls after a make.
Johnson is a rising prospect in the state. She started to make some noise about a year ago and has continued to do so. Her defensive foot speed stood out to me this weekend.
Joiner was excellent around the rim. She played good post defense and picked up a lot of offensive boards and put back opportunities.
Crombie made her statement defensively when I saw her at the Top 250. She guarded all sizes and skill sets and did it effectively.
Daggett has a disciplined and patient game that really works for her. She can play off of 2 feet and makes the right reads on the defense.
Highlights
Dixon flaunted some explosiveness at the event on Saturday. Her left to right crossover wrong footed multiple defenders.
Hulst made a statement on Saturday. I was impressed with her combination of strength and foot speed.
Highlights
Abney is simply a really good basketball player. She showed definite 3 point range on her jumper and she gets it off smoothly even as a defender closes out.
Highlights
Andrews made tough moves look easy on Saturday. She has tremendous feet and hip movement on both ends of the floor.
Banks was so physically tough this weekend. She did a tremendous job playing off contact and drawing fouls.
Belcher-Arill is an ELITE talent. She’s one of the physically strongest shooting guards in the state….and she’s only a sophomore. She was a matchup nightmare at the Top 250.
Highlights
Klinger just keeps getting better as an all around player. I always felt like she could shoot, but she showed this weekend that her game can be much more than that.
Highlights
Meredith was one of the fastest players in the gym. She showed that she could get the ball and beat the defense down the floor.
When I saw her play on Saturday, it was her shooting stroke that stood out to me. She buried a triple that pure and was fired with confidence.
Gerald was one of the most impressive players in the gym in my opinion. Her strength, shooting, and playmaking skills were all terrific at the Top 250.

Highlights
Shooters shoot, and Miss Terry, please keep shooting. She showed that when she gets going from behind the arc, she’s a “GameChanger”.

It started with defense for Ashbaugh, but that defense often turned into offense. She picked up steals that turned directly into buckets, brought energy to that end, and even attacked the glass.
Elsmore was terrific in transition at the event. She was able to finish with ease on the break. Elsmore was solid passing as well, hitting her teammate with a beautiful slicing feed.
Highlights
Wallace is an extremely talented perimeter player. She has nice handles, quick with the ball and always protecting it. She was solid with her jumper from both mid range and behind the arc.
Winston’s aggressiveness on both ends was eye popping. She’s a true playmaker on both ends of the floor.
