Chandler was extremely clutch this weekend, hitting some big time shots when her team needed them the most. What always impresses me about her game is how hard she consistently plays. I’ve never seen her slack off or take a play off. She can bring a ton of value on both ends of the floor. Defensively, Chandler can slide her feet to stop drives to the basket. She gets into the passing lanes for steals and isn’t afraid to be aggressive. Offensively, she constantly moves and works to get open. She can knock down shots or she can get to the rim. In the 1st game, Chandler finished with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. In Game 2, she had 10 points, 4 steals, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. In the Championship, Chandler finished with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block.

Chandler plays so hard and when she’s knocking down outside shots, she’s extremely hard to stop because she’s an excellent driver as well. She can get to the rim or score in the mid-range. She has good handles and while she doesn’t have to bring the ball down the floor for the Vikings, she certainly has the ability to handle pressure. Chandler’s ability to constantly make hustle plays always stands out to me because that speaks to her willingness to do whatever it takes to help her team win. She’s a huge piece of the puzzle for a great Rowan County team.

Chandler’s effort cannot ever be questioned. She plays so hard every single game and she will do all of the little things needed to help her team get the win. When it comes to 50/50 balls, tough rebounds, transition defense, etc., give me Chandler all day long. However, she is also a solid scorer who can handle the ball and create for teammates. Last season, Chandler averaged 11.9 ppg and 4.3 rpg. As impressive as that is, I expect both of those numbers to be even higher in her senior season.
