Gracynn Gough does a lot of nice work in the paint flashing with her hands held high ready for the pass and bucket.  She runs the floor well being ready for the pass in transition making her points count from the free throw line when needed.  She can make three point plays the old fashioned way, or show off her range knocking it down from deep.  She’s so tough in the paint being able to go against anyone.

Gough can score in transition with ease, earn trips to the foul line, and step outside and drain the deep three. She is an elite talent who changes a game because of her competitive nature and willingness to do whatever her team needs. Gough has committed to play college basketball at Holy Cross. 

Gracynn Gough is so tough in the paint posting up and going to work, and she can attack the basket from the top of the key.  She has a nice shot around the arc, too.  She doesn’t back down from contact absorbing it and not letting it change her adjustments as she attacks the rim.  She hustles up the court being ready for the pass on fast breaks.

The Holy Cross commit does all of the little things needed to win so well. It is incredible how she precisely knows where to go on the floor to give herself opportunities to score. You won’t find anyone in North Carolina that can cut to the basket better than Gracyn. She constantly catches her defenders falling asleep and forces defenders to never take their eyes off of her. Her year over year progression has been excellent as she has continuously expound upon her game in virtually every facet. 

Gracynn Gough is another athlete that has shown a lot of progression over her high school career.  She has been a piece of the best front court in the state, but she isn’t limited to playing on the block.  In addition to strong post moves and her ability to rebound, she can handle the ball around the perimeter attacking the basket or showing off her range.  Her energy is contagious on the court, and she will certainly be ready to show off her leadership abilities at the next level.

USC Upstate offered Gough in April. The 6-foot forward provides production inside and out. She has nice moves on the block, able to spin for hoops and finish with either hand. Gracynn doesn’t shy away from contact. She can be rugged under the rim when battling for rebounding position. Gough totaled 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block in a blow out win.

Gracynn Gough is a major reason why I think Charlotte Catholic has the best front court in the state.  She outworks everyone who has to guard her on the block making sure to seal them off to be the only one to catch the pass.  She has been absolutely on a tear knocking down her three point shot, too, taking advantage of players who give her too much space around the perimeter.  She is also an excellent hype woman celebrating her teammates and her own victories that help the team win all of their games.

Gracynn Gough came out firing making some nice shots from deep scoring the first six points.  She does a nice job sealing off her defenders making it easier to get the pass to her and score some points inside.  Her power dribbles are so effective getting some space to bank in her shot.  She battled contact working hard for her points leaving it all out on the court.

It will be tough for you to find someone who works harder in the paint than Gracynn Gough Gracynn Gough 6'0" | SF Charlotte Catholic | 2024 State NC .  She constantly moves around the lane sealing off her opponents and repositioning to make sure she is an open target.  Her ability to battle in the paint for a rebound against anyone is an asset on both ends of the court.  She can knock it down from deep, too.  She hustles back on offense being ready for the pass in transition.
