Several prospects stood out in this event including many middle school prospects that’ll have an impact on the high school basketball landscape in the near future. Prep Girls Hoops NC highlights the players that made their mark at this camp.
Jasiah Gilchrist (2026 guard, Aberdeen, NC)
Several talented middle school prospects were in attendance for the Carolina Top 100, but Jasiah Gilchrist may have performed the best of them all. She really stood out in the one-on-one portion of the skills session looking seemingly unstoppable especially when going to her left. Gilchrist also hit several tough shots from the outside and with this skill set, her potential is sky high.
Ashanti Fox (O’Neal School 2025 guard)
Ashanti Fox continued to show her ability to be an all-around guard that makes an impact in several areas. She created separation from her defenders using an array of moves, made great reads and passes, and took care of the ball throughout the game session. Fox is attending the O’Neal School in Southern Pines, a state title contender in the NCISAA 2A classification.
Isa Roman Isa Roman 5'8" | CG Grace Christian Sanford | 2025 State NC (Cardinal Gibbons 2024 guard)
Isabella ’Isa’ Roman also had a great showing at this camp showing all of the important skills that a true point guard has. She’s a high energy player that makes the right reads, defends and rebounds well at her size, and can score at all three levels. Roman was an impact player as a freshman for Cardinal Gibbons last season and her stock will only continue to rise during her sophomore year.
Mila Holloway Mila Holloway 5'9" | PG Legacy Early College | 2024 State SC (Chambers 2024 guard)
The 704 area code has an abundance of talented guards and Chambers guard Mila Holloway Mila Holloway 5'9" | PG Legacy Early College | 2024 State SC is certainly one of them. When it comes to getting past defenders off the dribble, she was arguably the best at the Carolina Top 100 camp in that regard. She’s an efficient scorer and play maker that always has a positive impact on the game whenever she’s on the floor.
