Here’s a quick peek at the Continental League.
What happened in something called Season B
Regis Jesuit, despite so much inexperience, rose to run the table at 8-0. Ever-present Highlands Ranch was 8-1 and Chaparral 7-2. Castle View and Ponderosa came in at 6-3. Only one of the loop’s 11 programs was able to complete a full Continental schedule, and it was Legend at 1-9.
Teams – Castle View, Chaparral, Douglas County, Heritage, Highlands Ranch, Legend, Mountain Vista, Ponderosa, Regis Jesuit, Rock Canyon, ThunderRidge.
Which playoff team(s) made the loop’s most noise?
It was Cinderella-esque – Regis Jesuit, with all of two seniors, including one who missed a lot of time through injury, somehow knocked off nationally ranked Grandview in the semifinals before succumbing to Valor Christian in the finale.
