Dabbs Classic in the City All-Tournament Team
Madison Greene Madison Greene 5'6" | PG Pickerington Central | 2023 State OH , 5-7 2023, Pickerington Central- She showcased her skills with some great play on her home court. She has a great basketball IQ and displayed her incredible athleticism with an explosive first step to the rim. She can get by her defender with ease, and finishes well in the paint with either hand. Madison (pictured left) has excellent court vision and will find her teammates, Can play through contact and is an aggressive player.
Ariel Grace, 5-5 2023, Columbus Africentric- She showed why she is one of the top guards in Ohio and among the best in the junior class. She possesses very good handles and excellent body control, running the offense smoothly and proficiently. She has good range, can score in a variety of ways. Her stock rose a lot in the game I saw her play. Solid defender and can make plays. (feature photo above)
Blessing King Blessing King 5'11" | PF Worthington Christian | 2022 State OH , 5-10 2022, Worthington Christian- Impressive player with good moves in the paint, strong physical player. She has good body control and is agile around the rim. Does a great job rebounding (over 800 in new career) and can split the defense well. Can play physical and is able to defend multiple positions. Uncommitted and a player who deserves a look at the next level.
Gwen Stare Gwen Stare 5'9" | SG Newark | 2022 State OH , 5-9 2022, Newark- An uncommitted guard who has next-level skills. Gwen (pictured left) does a great job anticipating the game and can red well on defense, can read the floor and creates chances for herself and her team. She pushes the ball well in transition, can play at various tempos. She has good handles and can control the game from the guard spot. Shifty guard and a high basketball IQ.
Anna Krupa, 5-8 2022, Tri-Valley- This young lady caught my attention very quickly in the game I saw. Not only is she a very good midrange shooter, she plays fast and can push tempo in transition. Has good hands on defense and turns them into chances with a good north-south game, finishing well at the rim. She is athletic and a player who is also unsigned. Earned MVP in her game at the Classic in the City.
Clarke Jackson Clarke Jackson 5'9" | CG Gahanna Lincoln | 2023 State OH , 5-10 2023, Gahanna Lincoln- A player who is no secret to PGH Ohio, as she sits in the top 60 of the latest rankings. I really liked her physical stature and her ability to rebound well. She can create chances in the paint and plays through contact without any issues. Able to slash and finish with good handles. Smart player with good IQ. (Pictured left)
Janiah Barker Janiah Barker 6'2" | SF Montverde Academy | 2022 State #3 Nation FL , 6-4 2022, Montverde (FL)- What an impressive group of players led by Janiah, but she definitely is not alone. Loved her ability to just dominate the boards with her long and athletic frame. This forward is a player who just goes with the flow of the game, and can take over whenever she chooses She has good range and is a player who was difficult to handle.
