Stock Risers- Cinco De Mayo

The Team Takeover Cinco De Mayo event was full of big time prospects who are going to garner even more attention this summer as well as some under the radar ballers who are about to come up as well. Versatile 5’11" guard/wing that is very imposing on defense. She showed the ability to strap ball handlers with excellent footwork, speed and strength. When she locked in no one could get past her. Very physical player with a high motor. She crashed the boards and showed range out to the three point line. Finished through contact with explosive pro hops and took care of the ball. Looking forward to seeing her again. <strong>Ande’a Cherisier, Boo Williams, 2023</strong> <img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-427969" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/20220507_145930_HDR-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /> 6’2" power forward that has added a three point threat to her impressive arsenal. Smooth lefty with a nice face up game where she excels at getting to the rim with a long first step and some solid spin moves. She has the drop step and up and under moves in the bag as well. This is going to be a big summer for her. <strong>Aryss Macktoon, Team Thrill, 2023</strong> <a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/20220507_122358-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1652270705.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-427973" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/20220507_122358-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1652270705-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /></a> Aryss has tremendous hops and uses that to her advantage. At 5’9" she is a versatile wing defender and a slasher on offense. She provided some quality minutes as a facilitator and her ball handling and passing were sharp. Strong ball handler that can get to the rim with a quick and long first step. Good vision and court awareness... Has the tools to be a lockdown defender. Has range out to the 3 point line but does her best work in the paint where she slashes and elevates over defenders. Power fives are in pursuit and more will jump on board this summer. <strong>Alexa Washington, Western PA Bruins, 2023</strong> <img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-427976" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/20220507_145834_HDR-150x150.jpg" alt="Alexa Washington" width="150" height="150" /> Sharpshooting point guard with a nice handle. Very competitive and has a good feel for the game. Quick first step allows her to create space and get into the paint where she makes good decisions and passes. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="300383" first="Comari" last="Mitchell"], Cap CIty Ballerz, 2024</strong> Strong guard that likes to use her quick crossover to get to the rim. Finishes well through contact and can knock down three pointers. Exceptional athlete with decent size and a good motor. <strong>Zoe Burruss, Cap City Ballerz, 2025</strong> Zoe was one of the best shooters I saw at the event. She has a quick release and can shoot off the dribble or the catch. She is a capable defender with good lateral quickness and a solid build. She is a good shooter with range out to the three point line, and is a strong finisher in the paint.
