The Classic Day 1

With The Classic getting underway there are some teams that put the W in wow with the type and skill set of players they have on their roster. From scoring inside on the block to mid-range and the three-point shot there has been some exciting basketball thus far 2023 TN Flight Silver 17U has a lot of firepower and showed dominance in the paint, They can score from any angle on the court, They go after loose balls and hit the floor while doing so. They apply good team pressure on their opponent and force many turnovers. Their guard play in Jada Harrison is phenomenal to be able to score and how they do it was great, to be able to split defenders and get to the rim or look for their big to drop the pass off to for the finish great court vision, They are a well-rounded team to watch. 2024 Team Huddle purple. Can get up and down the floor fast, and can break the press with a few passes that open the floor up for the three-point shot. the open shot looks for the open player and finishes at the rim. Leave them open they will knock down the open shot. They play good enough team defense to pressure you into bad shots or rush your shots. Alexis Booker and Elise Van Karsen are good parts  with this organization and well-coached team. 2023 Buckeye Blasts Royal came out the gates and played with pure dominance from the jump ball, they scored quickly getting the ball to the rim, and their guards played stellar ball slashing through the lanes, hitting jump shots, and getting the ball to the open person for easy layups. They wont let up even with the 6 players they play at a good paste and made sure they didn't wear themselves out, Good team to watch and see how they fought hard from start to finish. 2024 Kentucky Premier solid team from the post to the guard play, they play good help-side defense and go after every loose ball. They are a complete team that can shoot, guards can slash through the lane, and can finish at the rim. The post players know their roles, I have seen some good spin moves with solid finishing touches around the basket. 2023 Ohio Elite very good solid team all around, they move well off the screens to find their open shot, guards can control the game they can slow it or push it to their advantage. They do not panic under pressure when the press is on they make the right pass to get through the defense and able to set up their offense. Good looking players on this team and we will continue to see how they progress throughout the next couple of days. 2024 Smac Believe talented team that can get the job done from the 3 point line. They are able to withhold the pressure of their opposing team and break down the defense. They can score in a hurry an keep it going they play good team basketball and able to deliver the shot, with the likes of [player_tooltip player_id="421204" first="Ashlyn" last="Dyson"]. [player_tooltip player_id="329498" first="Marisa" last="Summerfield"] long athletic  guard , [player_tooltip player_id="407192" first="Brynn" last="Roggenburk"] and Jess Wolanin they are a tough team to beat.
