Teams from not only the Palmetto State but also North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky were among those that took part.

Richmond Heat out of Kentucky won the 17U and 15U divisions while Georgia-based Team Nite 2024 was the 16U champions. South Carolina-based Greenwood Storm took home the 14U crown.

With all of the talent that was on hand at the Upward Star Center, there were more than enough Gamechangers. Here is who stood out in Spartanburg.
[caption id="attachment_436455" align="alignnone" width="300"] Photo: Prep Girls Hoops[/caption]
[player_tooltip player_id="171803" first="Tamya" last="Hutchinson"] – 2024 – Hilton Head Christian Academy – H2 Lowco 2024 – In many ways, Hutchinson is the prototypical young star that today’s game of basketball is built around – an athletic guard who can shoot the 3-pointer, dish the ball to teammates and can attack the rim with tenacity. In one of Sunday’s matchups, Hutchinson spearheaded a ferocious comeback to get them back in a game with Florida-based Team Passion 2024. She tallied 13 points in that contest. She entered the AAU season riding a wave of momentum after leading the Eagles to her first and the program’s fourth consecutive SCISA 2A championship.

Zamyra Goode – 2024 – Bob Jones HS – Alabama Twisters Elite 2023 – How hard is it to make the Alabama Twisters Elite 2023 roster as a 2024? She is the lone sophomore on the team playing up in class. Goode attracts plenty of attention when she has the ball in her hands and this will open things up for her teammates to make plays. She throws defenders off balance with how she can score and never gives up on any play. Goode finished with 14 points in a Saturday contest with Richmond Heat 2023. Among the accomplishment she compiled on the Circuit was making the Knoxville Knockout 17U All-Tournament First Team.
[caption id="attachment_436747" align="alignnone" width="300"] Photo: Prep Girls Hoops[/caption]
Tamariana Cooper – 2026 – North Springs HS – FBC Blitz 2025 – Cooper was essentially playing up two years in class given her travel team matched up in the 16U division. She may have had the textbook definition of a GameChanger performance. In a hard-fought contest with 16U AAU power Wood Elite 2024, she made eight free throws – including a couple in crunch time – and 10 points in total to lift her team to a 58-54 win to advance to the 16U championship with Team Nite Nite 2024. Cooper is unafraid of contact, she will make things uncomfortable for opposing ball carriers and is efficient at upping her steal and block totals.

[player_tooltip player_id="248355" first="Alana" last="Pinnock"] – 2028 – Somerset Academy – Miami Impact 2025 – Pinnock is only a year removed from elementary school and is more than holding her own against hoopers that are a year or two shy of the collegiate ranks. Before joining Miami Impact 2025, she ran in the AAU ranks with Florida Lady Huskies. Pinnock had a strong finish to the Triumph Region Finals as her team earned an emphatic 64-38 win over Georgia Flames 2025 where she scored 11 points. In addition to what she does as a scorer, she can haul in rebounds and find open teammates. Her steals and blocks also are part of how she improves any team’s defense.

[player_tooltip player_id="438236" first="Cameron" last="Oliver"] – 2026 – Westview MS – Greenwood Storm 2026 – To a high extent, Oliver is part of a big three with Greenwood Storm 2026 (and possibly a big four). As efficient as she is with running the floor, Oliver also finds herself at the right place at the right time on many an occasion on the court. Offensively she will put points on the board and defensively she will prevent the other team from scoring with how effective she can be as a ball hawk. Oliver played a big role in Greenwood Storm 2026 leaving Spartanburg with the 14U division championship and will ride that momentum into the high school season where she will wear the purple and gold of the Emerald Vikings.
[caption id="attachment_436456" align="alignnone" width="300"] Photo: Prep Girls Hoops[/caption]
[player_tooltip player_id="436756" first="Ty" last="Johnson"] – 2026 – Brewer MS – Greenwood Storm 2026 – Speaking of that Greenwood Storm 2026 big three, Johnson is another part of that as she has also had an impressive time on the Circuit. She stands at 5-foot-9 and approaches the game with a high basketball IQ. Johnson is a skilled rebounder who is also versatile as an offensive player. Whether she has the rock near the rim, in the midrange game or from long range, Johnson can put the ball through the hoop. Her transition play is another element of her game that makes her an asset. Her first Circuit event was Knoxville Knockout in April and among her Finals performances was a 10-point outing in a win over Grind To Shine (GTS) Basketball 2026 and a 12-point effort against Richmond Heat 2026 in the 14U championship game.

[player_tooltip player_id="331744" first="Delaini" last="Morris"] – 2023 – Port Charlotte HS – FGC Miracle Gold 2023 – Morris is another who will look back on her Circuit performances and be very proud of what she accomplished. She stands at 5-foot-10 and is listed as a guard in spite of her height which is more indicative of threes, fours and fives. Morris can corral rebounds on either end of the floor and helps a team’s defense with how she can get steals and reject shots. She expresses plenty of confidence as a 3-point shooter with the number of them she can knock down. Morris had a 17-point outing in a Saturday matchup with Georgia-based One Step Away 2023. She also converted on a game-winning basket in April at the Triumph Region Kickoff at IMG Academy in Bradenton.

[player_tooltip player_id="311548" first="Tasia" last="Agee"] – 2023 – Warner Robins HS – One Step Away 2023 – Speaking of One Step Away 2023, FGC Miracle Gold 2023 had no answer for Agee when she tallied 18 points on Saturday in what was a one-sided get-together between the two teams. She is efficient as a floor runner and handle the rock from one end of the floor to the other. Agee can absorb a good bit of contact and get to the free throw line. When she has the ball in her hands and attacks the rim, she can either score or pass. Agee is also a consistent threat to steal the ball.

Ellison Steinhauer – 2026 – Pickens MS – Georgia Flames 2025 – Steinhauer plays up a year in class and was playing up two classes at the Triumph Region Finals given Georgia Flames 2025 was part of the 16U division. She proved throughout the Circuit that she is a young up-and-comer filled with upside. Steinhauer possesses the ability to sink long range shots – either long twos or 3-point attempts. Ball handling is another element to her overall game. Steinhauer has no problems weaving her way through defenders en route to the cup and can get out in transition following a steal or an opponent’s missed shot. In one of her team’s Saturday games, she had 11 points against 16U runner-up FBC Blitz 2025.
