Goose Creek put the Palmetto State on notice last season by finishing 19-9 overall and 6-2 in Region 6-AAAAA. Sanders was a major reason why the Gators reached the 19-win plateau for the first time since the 2019-20 season when Goose Creek won 27 contests under head coach Tim Baldwin. Sanders is listed at 5-foot-5. She displayed her offensive efficiency with her ability to attack the rim with consistency. She also had no problems drawing contact to take her opportunities at the free throw line. Sanders really came out on fire for the Lowcountry Premier NXT Pro16 here today. She recorded 21 points at the halftime break and never looked back with her play today. Saniya a left-handed guard attends Goose Creek HS. She recorded some three-pointers here today when she wasn’t looking to score in transition on layups at times.

Sanders a left-handed guard was a late addition to the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo on the day of the event. Saniya is a left-handed guard who seems to play her best basketball at times on the defensive end of the floor. She jumped on the floor for a few loose balls today and had no problems collecting a few bruises along the way. Saniya likes to chat it up at times and stay vocal on the floor.
Sanders will have a new address this season over at Goose Creek HS. She played last season at Cathedral Academy.

Sanders is another who now wears the Vegas gold and navy blue colors of the Generals during the high school season and those of Coastal Select when the AAU months roll around. She is a transfer to Cathedral Academy from Berkeley HS. Sanders has also taken part in track and field events throughout her career. As a freshman last season, she earned plenty of playing time at SCHSL 5A Berkeley and that is sure to translate into even more minutes under coach Chris Pouyat’s tutelage. Sanders is a left-handed point guard who can find her way around defenses and also is true on plenty of her attempts from the field.
