Continue ReadingRhianna immediately caught my eye with her height, length and athleticism. She’s an intriguing sophomore that can play 3-5. Mateyka is a good rebounder that can push in transition and serve as a playmaker. She has a nice three-point stroke and can score around the rim. Rhianna is a mismatch for most when attacking from the perimeter. I think she has tremendous upside as a defender.
Highlights
I felt comfortable seeing the ball in Hannah Lopez Hannah Lopez 5’5″ | PG Denmark | 2025 State GA ‘s hands. Only a sophomore but already a polished veteran after playing with the U16 Philippines team at the Women’s Asian Championship, Lopez is a heady guard that makes good decisions and can pack a punch offensively. She’s a competitive on-ball defender that is quick laterally. Lopez rebounds well for her size. Hannah has a pretty floater and is a good shooter off the dribble. The sharp ball handler limits turnovers and looks like a natural floor general.
I’m not sure if colleges have Graycen on their radars just yet, but they will want to start tracking her soon. I think she has a chance to warrant some serious college looks, possibly as high as D-I if her development continues. She’s an interesting player. Ehlen is physically strong and has covetable size at 6-foot. A goalkeeper on the soccer team, Graycen is a fluid athlete that moves well for her size. She can play 3-5 and possibly stick on the wing full time with her ability to attack from the perimeter. She’s strong off the dribble when getting to the rim. Graycen can seek mismatches and go into the post where she scores with a hook shot and draws fouls. Currently ranked 56th in the class of 2025, I think Ehlen could see a major leap in our next rankings update.
Adazha made a strong first impression. She plays very hard. Burrell is a physical player for 5-foot-8. She looks capable of played 2-4 and in doing so, can create some advantageous situations with her skill set. Burrell loves to go coast-to-coast after ripping down rebounds and scores well through contact. Adazha also is a steady shooter, hitting a pair of threes in the game I watched.
Isabella was one of the best passers I saw at camp. She didn’t have to wow with dazzling passes or anything flashy, instead she just used her court vision and pocket passing to find the open man. Isabella was patient letting plays develop and understood how to get the right angle to make entry feeds. When her own number was called, Ramirez shot the three with accuracy.
As I saw at the Sandy’s Spiel Fall League, Laura Mitchell Laura Mitchell 5’7″ Carrollton | 2025 GA has a great nose for the ball. She’s an exceptional rebounder that plays much bigger than her height. Mitchell plays extremely hard, always crashing the glass. She had her outside shot working as well, hitting a mid-range and a three-pointer.
