We want a leader pulling the sleigh and Reynolds is just that. She’s one of the top point guards in the midwest in my opinion. Reynolds initiates the offense and will get a bucket if her team needs one.
We need a post presence and a rebounder to help pull the Michigan sleigh. There might not be a better choice than Swanson. She’s a walking and talking double-double in points and rebounds.
We need players that are steady and consistent when given the task to pull the sleigh for the junior class. Stemmer is just that. She’s a consistent scorer for Saline and her mental mistakes are few and far between.
Our group of 9 have a tough task at hand and we need some personality to keep the group on their toes. Thomas can provide just that, all while playing high level defense and hitting big shots from outside.
We have to have athletes right? Enter Jada Collins Jada Collins 6’1″ | SF Kalamazoo Central | 2024 State MI to the mix. The athletic wing can flat out make plays, both in the flow of the offense and in the open floor. Her creativity and ability to finish are more than valuable.
We need players that are feeling their game to pull the sleight. Overweg certainly fits that bill. She has been playing outstanding basketball so far this season. Her offensive game, while already really good, has hit another level.
We need strength and aggressiveness when undertaking this immense task. Kyles has proven that she has both of those traits. She’s a physically strong guard that can muscle many opponents. Kyles likes to get downhill with the ball.
Just in case, we need some defense pulling the sleigh. Roe has shown since she hit high school that she can be one of the best on ball defenders around. She has great defensive vision and very quick hands.

She has been a bucket so far this year, proving to be one of the top scorers from the top of the state. Maki is also a terrific rebounder, having the ability to notch a double-double on any given night.
