Quite simply, Collins has the height, length and athletic ability of a next level wing. Her game screams college basketball. Collins’ ability to run the floor and to create in the half court is elite and should transfer to the next level.

Collins was a bright spot in a tough game against East Kentwood. She has imposing length and athleticism. In a game when Collins couldn’t find the ball in the open floor, she did other things successfully to try to help her team. She challenged and blocked more than a handful of shots. Collins’ team may have had an off day, but it was still more than obvious that she’s a special prospect.

Jada Collins was an impressive athlete at the Michigan Hardwood Classic for Kalamazoo Central. At 6’0 her length, leaping ability, and fluid play on both ends is impressive to watch. She went up and swatted a ball out of the air, nailed a wing 3, and finished a baseline drive at the rim through contact. Jada dribbled the ball using lateral pushouts, crossovers, pocket dribbles, like the ball was attached to her hand. She was one of the most visually imposing athletes on the court today.

Collins is set to take her talents to Tennessee State after her high school career is done. I suggest seeing her play in Michigan while you still can. She’s an elite wing talent that can own a game in the open floor. Collins spreads the floor on the break and finishes with athleticism.

Collins has been a Michigan high school basketball star for quite some time now. She’s been that in the preseason this winter. Collins has made athletic plays on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she has been challenging shots and frustrating opponents trying to take her off the bounce. On the offensive end, Collins has been scoring athletically from multiple levels and showing off some nice court vision when attacking the rim.

Collins is one of the smoothest wings in the state. I don’t know if there’s a wing in the state that you’d rather see running the sideline in transition. Collins gets up and down the floor with ease and is an athletic finisher.

Collins is a superbly talented wing that will be playing with Michigan Crossover in the Nike EYBL. Collins is a skilled athlete off the wing that is really strong in the open floor when filling a wing as a finisher. She really seems to be on the brink of something very special. I truly believe that Collins will continue to improve and she could elevate herself even more as a prospect this summer.

Collins is a premier wing in this state and she seems to prove it on a nightly basis. She’s a huge factor in the great Kalamazoo Central season so far. In an impressive 67-38 win against Benton Harbor, Collins paced her squad with 25 points and 7 rebounds. She was also a menace on the defensive end, playing the passing lanes and creating chaos.
