Zahra Douglas started the game with a steal and bucket stripping the ball away from her opponents and finishing at the rim. It was a common theme throughout the game that she was getting her hands involved on defense deflecting passes and grabbing steals. She gets in the right position for the rebound, too. On offense, she has some nice moves on the block using power dribbles and up and under moves to score her points no matter what kind of contact she has to go through. She even stepped outside to drain a three pointer right after her opponents thought they were going on a run.
Riley Smith
Riley Smith
Riley Smith anticipates what her opponents are going to do while she’s playing defense to knock the ball out of the way and stop the offensive set. She runs her team’s offense well finding her open teammates as they make cuts, and she is constantly moving with and without the ball. She is quick closing out on the ball, and she goes after loose balls gaining possession. She has an excellent midrange game being able to drive hard to the hoop and pull up quickly losing her defender in the process. She can definitely step outside for the three pointer.
Reagan Iovino is effective at getting around her defender, and she showed off a floater in the paint against her opponents. She can shoot from anywhere, and I mean anywhere on the court. She shot off a pass, and she made her own space dribbling to show off her stroke. She knows how to attack the basket drawing her defender to foul her and get some points from the free throw line.
Highlights
Amanda Sacoto hustles after every rebound using her strength to box out opponents making sure she is the only one who can get the board. She came out strong in the second half giving her team some life with the inside game power dribbling her way to the hoop for two points. She slides into the help position on defense well getting stops that her team needs.

Ella Chepul
Ella Chepul
Ella Chepul has some good height, and she can definitely knock down the shot from deep. She gets inside to battle for rebounds, and she was quick to take advantage of offensive boards to get her more points. On defense, she has a quick closeout and that partnered with her length means blocked shots. She got inside with her power dribbles turning and scoring easily.
Reese Fritz is a sharp shooter from all around the perimeter. You know she can shoot when the opposing team’s defensive game plan involves trying to lock her down from even touching the ball. She is quick to get open without the ball cutting in and out of the paint and flashing across the court. She follows shots grabbing rebounds on defense and immediately pushing it up the court.
Highlights
Maslyn Mosbacher is a tough defender being able to draw offensive fouls against her as well as jump into passing lanes to grab steals. She pushes these right up the court using her vision to find the best way for her teammates to score some points. She is very quick sneaking in to grab the steal on a fast break and busting up the court on her own blowing by her opponents for some points. Her box out is effective even getting over the back calls in her favor. She can set herself up shooting around the arc as well.
