Amanda is solid as rock down on the low block. A true throwback post player that plays the game the right way. She knows who she is and she doesn’t try to be someone she’s not. She’s an extremely strong rebounder, that works hard in the paint and demands the ball inside. Amanda is a must have for any program that runs an offense inside-out. Offensively she will work to get high percentage shots and excels with her back to the basket. Plug her with a PG that can run the pick-and-roll and you could have something special. On defense, she slides her feet well against screens and does a good job moving to the basket to contest shots. Overall, just a very solid big who is going to do well on the collegiate level.

Amanda Sacoto hustles after every rebound using her strength to box out opponents making sure she is the only one who can get the board.  She came out strong in the second half giving her team some life with the inside game power dribbling her way to the hoop for two points.  She slides into the help position on defense well getting stops that her team needs.

Amanda Sacoto is averaging a double double this season taking on a strong senior leadership role for the Cavaliers.  She is quick moving in the paint from block to block going after the rebound following a shot knowing how it will come off the backboard.  She does a nice job staying in front of opponents on the block preventing them from getting a pass inside.  On offense, she hustles up the court getting to her position staying ready for the pass whether she’d get it while running or she needs to seal off her opponent to create a target for herself.  Her adjustments in the paint are fun to watch knowing how to move her opponent to get the best shot for herself.

Amanda Sacoto Amanda Sacoto 6'1" | C Cuthbertson | 2023 NC has certainly been a stock riser over the past couple of years earning her value in the paint.  She is aggressive when it comes to grabbing rebounds, and she can certainly post up to get some points.  She does well shifting from block to block to find the open areas sealing off her opponents in the process.  She runs the floor well being available in transition, and she will certainly step up as a leader for her team going into her high school season.
