Sheridan shouldered a lion’s share of the load for West Bloomfield, leading the way with 19 pionts against Stoney Creek. Her gutsy performance kept the Lakers close down the stretch and provided more support to her claim as a Miss Basketball Finalist. She drained two smooth triples in the corner and remained unaffected by a closeout foul, sinking the and-one straightaway three. Sheridan slashed to the rim to score an and-one layup; she also connected on a pair of mid-range jumpers. Sheridan split defenders with a quick crossover dribble on a drive, absorbed contact in the lane, and converted the timely bucket with under a minute to go.

Sheridan proved to be the steadying force for West Bloomfield last season, stepping up as the team’s lone returning starter from its 2024 state championship squad. Despite heavy roster turnover, the talented guard led the Lakers right back to the Breslin Center with her leadership and elite play. Committed to the University of North Alabama, the 5-foot-9 standout averaged 16.1 points per game and connected on 37 percent of her shots from three-point range, including a 17-point performance in the state semifinals. Her ability to rise to the moment and carry her team on the big stage makes her one of Division 1’s most dependable and dynamic players.

Sheridan buried two wing threes and drilled another jumper up top off a screen. She corralled rebounds, set up teammates, and created steals with her active defense. Sheridan is a Miss Basketball candidate and will be a great addition to the North Alabama Women’s Basketball program.

Sheridan is a well decorated West Bloomfield guard and she earned D1 All-Breslin Team honors by being one of the best players on the court against the state champions in the state semifinals. She creates steals on defense and has one of the best step back jumpers out there. Sheridan was recognized as a standout performer at the UAA Session One tournament last weekend and I expect her to be one of the best prospects in the gym for Michigan Storm Elite 17U UAA at the Cagers Invitational.
