Nacoya Blocton Nacoya Blocton 6'0" | PF Ridgeview | 2025 State FL / 2025 / 5’11 PF / Ridgeview / MHD Elite
Blocton really showcased a unique skill set of a power forward. She can play the 3, the 4, and the 5 positions. In the Jax Magic Tournament, Blocton ran the floor, handled the ball, shot from the midrange, shot from behind the three-point line, and was dominant in the paint. In the championship game of the tournament, she was outright special. Blocton displayed ball-handling skills taking any and everyone off the dribble. As a power forward she also brought power as she posted up and destroyed every defender in her path. Blocton is a versatile player who can also play with her back to the basket. She uses good footwork to get to the basket and can finish with the left and the right hand. She is poised to have a great summer and show that she is one of the best Stretch 4s in the State in the 2025 class.
Mia Chandler / 2026 / 5’11 PF / Mandarin / Lady OTOD
Chandler just continues to get better and better and she really showed a lot in the Jax Magic tournament. Her ability to defend on the inside and also on the outside is impressive and her straight-line speed from one end of the court to the other is remarkable. Offensively, Chandler is very good in the paint and can score against the 4s and 5s. She has shown the ability to shoot the midrange shot and it’s an area where she continues to get better. Chandler has raw ability and the potential to be a top 50 player in her class when it is all said and done.
Kamela Marshall / 2025 / 5’8 SG / Ed White / Lady OTOD
Marshall’s ability to knock down the three-point shot stood out over the weekend. She has good size, runs the floor well in transition, and can shoot the ball. The Sophomore knocked down 5 or 6 threes in one game and was accurate from all areas on the court.
Narissa Blocton / 2026 / 5’7 SG / Ridgeview / MHD
The Freshman guard has really good length at the guard position. She plays very good defense and uses her length and quickness to create havoc in the passing lanes. Blocton also runs well in transition and has the ability to get to the basket. Offensively, Blocton has a good midrange game and is fearless and tough. In the Jax Magic tournament, she played smart, played physical, and mixed it up against several Seniors, and held her own. Blocton rebounded well and had some scores in transition. With a year of varsity play, no moment seemed too big for Blocton. Her poise stood out as much as her tenacity on defense.
