[player_tooltip player_id='649152' first='McCoy' last='Pfister'], 5'3", PG, Kapaun Mt. Carmel (KS), [program_tooltip program_id='716118' first='Next' last='Level Eclipse'] 2026 McCorry, 2026 - Pfister is a super-quick player who loves to set up her crossover in the half court. She explodes out of it to get into the lane and to draw defenders so she can hit a teammate on the perimeter. I like her little floater in the lane as well as her transition speed. Because she favors one direction substantially I would like to see her develop similar explosiveness going the other way.

[player_tooltip player_id='493412' first='Harper' last='Floyd'], 5'11", PF, Willard (MO), Missouri Legacy 2026, 2026 - Among the best post up games I saw was from Floyd. She has a solid build and length that she uses to her advantage when working hard to create space on offense and close up space defensively. Off the pass, though, she gets in trouble when she does not keep the ball high. Floyd also has a nice ability to uses a quick back up dribble to hit a quick jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='637429' first='Alissa' last='Owens'], 5'10", SF, Joplin (MO), Missouri Legacy 2026, 2026 - Owens has a couple offensive abilities that really stand out. Her quick turnaround jumper against a defender is very good. Stronger is her ability to make plays out of a triple-threat position on the perimeter. I love her quick three-point shot from that position. She passes and creates from it as well. Owens competes inside also but I would like to see her keep the ball high off interior passes and offensive rebounds.

And matched with her solid transition speed she can make things happen. Among the spots I saw her work out of was an instance when she found herself one-on-one in half court corner. She used her skills to beat her defender and create a near short corner shot. Price finishes well at speed and uses her pivot foot well to find passing lanes when she has picked the ball up.

[player_tooltip player_id='621268' first='Jordan' last='McCombs'], 5'5", CG, Lakin (KS), [program_tooltip program_id='715500' first='Magic' last='Basketball'] 2026, 2026 - McCombs made a strong impression on the boards, even moreso with her want-to to rebound. He quickness and anticipation ability come into play with that desire as well as it does when she defends. My colleague Jeremy Deckard watched the team Friday evening and said "she needs to be more aggressive on the offensive end of the court and improve her confidence. She can score, but McCombs has to believe she can score and play a little more selfishly."
