Here are some more of the talented backcourt players who will be returning next season. I went south for this one, with two teams who have great guards back. Mixed in with a team from the north and a few mentions that could be the best of the best next season.

Bellarmine Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='317600' first='Keiara' last='Curtis'] [player_tooltip player_id='301060' first='Kiara' last='Stone'] [player_tooltip player_id='585056' first='Jada' last='Travis']

Talk about a dynamic duo, this could be one of the best next season. They took turns having big games in the post-season. Both scored over 30 in two separate games. Stone is quick and crafty. Although she played off the ball last season, she translates well as a point guard. She has explosive drives to the hoop. She can hit the three, and is a great defender, getting steals and going coast to coast. She can fill it up., scoring 34 points vs Davis in the state tournament. It is her craftiness around the basket and ability to either shoot or go by the defense that stands out. This is due to her quickness and ball skills. Both see the floor well and make great passes on the break. Her backcourt mate Curtis, scored 34 points in the round of 12 win vs Davis at the state tournament. She s a guard who is well suited for the shooting guard position. She is great off the dribble with a nice mid- range game. She is another one that is capable of taking it coast to coast and pulling up from three. She is listed at 5'8 but plays bigger. She hits some tough shots off the dribble. She can handle it on the break and has good floor vision. She is a prospect to watch with her talents. Bellarmine Prep will be a tough out next season. [player_tooltip player_id='585056' first='Jada' last='Travis'] is another guard who returns and played a huge role as the teams point guard. She also has the talent to be a big time player in this loaded backcourt in 2924. Curtis and Travis will be seniors, and Stone will be a junior in the 2024 season.

Skyview

[player_tooltip player_id='580766' first='Kiera' last='Parks'] [player_tooltip player_id='590237' first='Lainey' last='Phillips']
Kiera is a dynamic player who excels at shooting the three. She is great at using the dribble to relocate and fire away. She handles the ball well enough to get her own, and can pull it off the dribble quickly. She is one of the best at pulling up after going coast to almost coast and knocking down threes. She pulls up full speed and let's it fly. The lefty is a quick and fast paced player who can defend and plays with a little swag and a lot of confidence . Skyview loses their leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id='594147' first='Jordan' last='Labrador-Hallet'] to graduation. Parks will be a top scoring threat for Skyview next season. [player_tooltip player_id='590237' first='Lainey' last='Phillips'] is a player with a bit of a different game than Parks. She plays with a toughness and rebounds well from the guard/small forward position. I'm giving her the guard spot here. She is a good athlete who goes after it on the glass. She gets offensive rebounds and put backs, and is strong with the ball. She did make threes and can develop into more of a threat next season. I saw a nice looking shot when she did make threes. She plays hard, uses her athleticism, and scores inside and out. She is a bit taller and has more length than Parks. She is more of a two guard and can play the 3. Versatility once again. I have seen a lot of players who fit that label with multiple skills. Parks will be more of a point guard who scores. She was 1st team GSHL 4A all league. Skyline had a good season and have some talented players back to improve offf this year's success.

Camas

[player_tooltip player_id='317648' first='Keirra' last='Thompson'] [player_tooltip player_id='580773' first='Riley' last='Sanz']

I'm going with the chalk here. I don't know if you will find a better backcourt in the 2024 season. The previously mentioned trio from Bellarmine Prep, Garfield with [player_tooltip player_id='279612' first='Katie' last='Fiso'] and company. [player_tooltip player_id='317132' first='Brooklynn' last='Haywood'] and [player_tooltip player_id='286854' first='Ava' last='Smith'] at Union. Those are some others that come to mind when thinking about the best backcourts. There are plenty more. That is a lot of talent on just a few teams. Enter Camas, and Thompson. She is one of the states premier point guards. She is already receiving national attention as a junior to be. She has tremendous court vision and drops dimes that you see on highlight reels. She is capable of scoring a lot of points as well but with all the talent Camas has, she does what great point guards do. She finds her teammates for open looks. Although if she is open, she will knock down shots from three or take it to the bucket and score. She is a a great ball handler and won't make many mistakes. Sanz is one of the guards who benefits from those dimes. A great shooter and scorer who can also create her own shot. She can score on tough floaters and mid-range shots but might be most lethal from three. She had some big games in the post-season, and is a clutch player. She led Camas in scoring in the loss to Eastlake who has another premier returning guard ([player_tooltip player_id='398493' first='Sofia' last='Aluas']) in the 4A championship game, Sanz had 5 threes, finishing with 15 points. These two play well off of each other, along with a ton of other talented players at Camas. [player_tooltip player_id='590581' first='Sophie' last='Buzzard'] should be mentioned when talking backcourt players as well. Another lights out shooter. They move the ball as well as any team I watched this season. They will be a heavy favorite next season to win the 4A title and should get some attention nationally as one of the best teams in the country. They have already showed they can play with the best and return every significant player from this season.

Here are some more of the talented backcourt players who will be returning next season. I went south for this one, with two teams who have great guards back. Mixed in with a team from the north and a few mentions that could be the best of the best next season.
