Prep Girls Hoops Region Kick Off: Some Of The Best From Weeks 1-2

In these two weekends I've seen a bunch of players with some incredible talent and skill on the floor. Able to put the ball on the floor at a consistent rate and finish through contact. Has the ability to spread the floor and shoot from deep when given a moment to set her feet. A hard-worker who leaves everything out on the floor and plays with a positive attitude. Has great combination of size and speed. Does a good job of being a well-rounded player. Makes small adjustments during games to help make things easier on her teammates if given the opportunity. Plays as another coach on the floor. The combination of her skill, speed, and IQ was incredible to witness up close. She can score at all three levels, comes to a two-footed jump stop in the lane, and can finish through contact. On defense her fast hands lead to a lot of steals and layups for her team. Overall, Jenkins is a gamer. Someone you give the ball to when you need them to make something happen in a clutch moment of a game. Does everything you ask of her and more as a coach. Solid scoring ability with an elite passing ability on the offensive end. Controls the pace of the game and never gets sped up, even when opponents bring pressure. Player that the coach can trust in the biggest moments to make the right, overall choice for her team in the end. Plays the off-guard position but can handle when it is asked of her. She has a really nice shooting form. She leads with balance, good footwork, and most importantly catches with a good amount of space around her to get a shot up over a smaller defender. Possesses a good lay-up package once she gets to the hoop. When looking at her how good she is now, if she can continue to expand her game over the next few seasons, she will be getting offers from every D1 school in the country by the end of it. She is the real deal. Nothing else to say. Defensive stopper. Makes a lot of magic happen with the problems she causes with her ability to block or get deflections around the hoop for her squad.
