Expert Analysis

Abby led a young Bismarck Century team to an impressive 21 wins this season. The talented shooting guard is staying in town and going to the University of Mary for college, playing in a program and for a coach I really respect. She will be ready to compete and work because of her experience as a Patriot. She is a lengthy 5’10 who can defend, rebound, and score. Abby was incredibly efficient and productive her senior season. She finished as the leading scorer for Century at 13.5 points per game on 50% shooting from the field, 31% from three, and 82% from the free-throw line.

Century is going to be loaded this season and could potentially knock off Minot for a region title in 25-26. Fosland is a big returning piece for her squad. She was an All-WDA selection last season and has potential to get back on that team this year. She is a powerful athlete and a great jumper. I like the edge she plays with and I look forward to seeing her leadership develop this year.

Abby is a star for Bismarck Century and as I have mentioned in past articles, one of the mains reason that Century was rolling at the end of the 24-25 season. She currently has one D2 offer from University of Mary, a school that doesn’t miss much on their recruits. I am sure Mary loves Abby’s athleticism, size, and competitive nature. I predict Abby will have a great senior season next year.

Abby was really good this season and help Bismarck to a WDA Tournament Title and a Runner-Up finish in the State tournament. She was the Patriots most efficient scorer and ended up averaging 13.3 points per game. She is a tough athlete and can make difficult finishes over opponents going to the rim. She is a tenacious defender and tough competitor. Abby will be Century’s best returning player next season and I look forward to seeing how she improves this offseason.

Abby was also voted to the All-Tournament Team after a great weekend of play. She is a very gifted athlete and someone who has a high ceiling as a prospect. I like how tough she is defensively and her use of her quick first step offensively. She plays the game the right way and will be better for playing in a game like this one. The Patriots will rely on her if they want to get back to this game next season.

Abby is my pick for Century’s second All-WDA selection alongside Zoie. She is a really good athlete and a key playmaker for the Patriot’s offense. She is very long and a tough player. She is an excellent defender as well. She is averaging nearly 13 points per game and 4 assists. Her assist to turnover ratio is an outstanding 2.3
