Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a power forward that has defense first mindset. I can guard positions 2-5. I've also been working hard during the travel season to improve my ball handling, mid range, and 3 pt shot. I work hard in the weight room and lift over 500 in bench, power clean, and squat.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a committed student-athlete with a 4.06 GPA. My commitments are to: Jesus, family, academics, and basketball. I am a gym rat! I love working out with my teammates and coaches, whether it be in the weight room or gym. I am defense minded on the court and strive to be a great teammate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am active in my church. I have helped families that have needed student types of support. I am involved in Marketing and won a CTAE award in it my freshman year. I have also worked with younger kids to teach them the game of basketball in my community. I will be helping my mom coach a 6th grade rec team this year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Community service is very important to me. My parents have instilled a strong work ethic and the importance of teamwork. Through the church, I've learned to see the best in people and how to lift myself and others up. I've attended leadership meetings taught by the head football coach with other sports athletes. I have learned it is best to lead by example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced some challenges. My family has moved several times over the years due to my parents jobs. I have learned how to make friends with diverse groups of people, to establish myself on different teams, and how to conduct myself in a positive way.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college/university who have high graduation rates, players and coaches who lift each other up, a team that is a good fit for me, and a place where I can grow as a person and basketball player.
