Off the rebound, from behind the arc, off her block work she went on runs. Very athletic with quick feet she used her length and hops to great affect, getting to balls and scoring over defenders. Askew has good transition speed and shot blocking ability. She was able to create and take advantage of transition opportunities. Askew debuted in the rankings at #20.

Her play drew upon consistently quick and strong footwork on both ends of the floor. She defended on the perimeter and inside with good positioning and balance. Offensively she moved well without the ball and was able to get good looks around the basket. Balzer's wingspan made her that much more effective as well.

With great size and length Holmes runs well and has a strong motor. Using her good mobility she gathered and scored off the catch and from overpowering defenders on the offensive glass. Holmes is a shot blocker as well. An intriguing prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1265023' first='Blakely' last='Lowe'], 5'5", PG, 2029, Kansas United 2027 Harden - Lowe is a mature point guard with floor leadership and handles. She also has terrific defensive quickness, headiness, and quick hands that enabled her to generate turnovers in a variety of situations. An immediate addition to my watch list.

[player_tooltip player_id='719105' first='Jaele' last='Thompson'], 5'8", CG/SF, McPherson, 2027, Kansas United 2027 Hicks - After playing the entire summer with Lady PGU Hoops Thompson joined the Kansas United team and tore...it...up. It felt like she scored 75% of the team's points in the game I watched. Thompson is athletic, quick, fast, and fluid in her movements. She also has solid hops. Using her quickness to create off the bounce, off entry passes, and to finish against challengers in transition Thompson's offensive game was very developed. Her defensive skill set is less so but all the tools are there.

[player_tooltip player_id='779231' first='Reese' last='Wilborn'], 5'5", SG, 2027, Kansas United 2027 Harden - Wilborn has some handles and moves well into space without the ball. Quickness and speed to play the top of the press she scores well around the basket including by using a soft floater.
