Well, it’s time to check out the coverage right here on your source for basketball action all year long. #RecruitThePalmettoState
Parker has a new address this school year in Cherokee County at Blacksburg HS. She transferred in this summer from nearby Gaffney HS. Shyrique brings good versatility to the floor with her ability to play out on the wing. She has a very nice skill set to handle the rock and find the open teammate.
Parker will rebound the ball well on both ends of the floor. She was able to drive to the cup on occasion today and finish at the bucket. Shyrique picked up an offer this off season from South Carolina State University.
Taylor really likes to bring the chaos to the floor when she plays. Ahminah swarms to the ball on the defensive end of the floor. You certainly can count on her to be in the middle of the action when it comes to a loose ball or to jump on the deck. Ahminah plays the game with tough and win at all costs attitude. She creates her scoring opportunities on just hustle plays alone on both sides of the court.
Edwards does a little bit of everything on the floor at times. Raven always makes herself available to be around the ball and in the middle of the action. She connected on some buckets today just on effort and second chances. Raven is a glue player at times and does what she need to do to be effective on the floor.
Walker-Lee was a last-minute sign up here today. Kadence just brings EFFORT and HUSTLE to every play while on the floor. She has solid footwork which makes her a tough matchup at times down low. Kadence will run the floor like a deer and put herself in position to make a play. She never worries about collecting a few bumps and bruises along the way with her all out play at all times.
Kadence jumps on the deck every time Prep Girls Hoops sees her play. She plays in the paint area, and she understands what her game is and takes advantage of that.
Farmer can play both positions in the backcourt. She seems to be most comfortable at times off the ball and getting her shot off from the perimeter. Faith makes herself available to be a ball-handler when needed on the floor. She was able to knockdown some jumpers here today for her squad. Farmer will be counted on to have a big season for this year for the Lady Chiefs up on the Grand Strand.
Hoffman was a nice surprise with her play here today. Madison connected on some three pointers while also setting up her teammates for some good looks. Hoffman was solid and played within her means and game. She didn’t look to force shots and really came to play today. Madison will provide plenty of leadership on the Lady Panthers roster this season.
Davis is very agile with her footwork around the bucket. She can step-out for the short corner jumper. Emerie really does a good job of getting herself into position to rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. Davis will drop an occasional runner to the bucket.
Emerie is a very capable double-double player night in and night out on the floor for the Lady Panthers.
Greene really looks to score the ball when given the chance. China plays the game with a fearless mindset and generally off the ball. Greene likes to play in attack mode and leak out in transition at times for cheapies heading the other direction. She was able to finish with her left-hand at times here today.
McMillan brings a lot of tangibles to the floor with her game. She has a good skill set to play multiple positions. Jazzlyn handles the rock out top where she surveys the defense for an open teammate. She has a good feeling for the game and understands on how to play. McMillan enters her 3rd year already on the varsity level and think she’s just in the 9th grade this year.
