The Edgewood guard has all the intangibles a coach would want in a lead guard. Miller makes the right play every trip down the floor. She makes the game look simple. She can score from anywhere on the floor, get to her spots, and punish teams for minor mistakes. Nothing has ever seemed to rattle her, and it’s hard to imagine that’ll change at the next level. The Madison native will stay home and play her collegiate basketball at the University of Wisconsin in the Big Ten.

Nationally, the Edgewood guard won’t stand out as much as other guards. She’s not flashy and won’t pop athletically. However, she controls the game and may have the best intangibles of any player I’ve seen come out of Wisconsin since my first high school season in 2021-22. The Wisconsin commit consistently made the right play and was consistently impressive all day on Tuesday.

Miller has been one of the steadiest lead guards in the state since she stepped foot for her first game at Edgewood. The Madison native has been among the effective lead guards in the state, and may be the most responsible ball handler in Wisconsin. Miller has also shown some aggression offensively when needed. In the second half of the last two state championship games the Crusaders have played in, Miller has been incredible. The Madison native will continue her career at the next level in her hometown at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Big Ten.

The Madison native has always been among the elite floor generals in the state. Her ability to control a game with the ball in her hands has led to significant success for every team she’s played on. Miller’s a skilled guard who will be a player who’s hard to keep off the floor once she reaches the next level.
