Noble has taken major leaps in her overall approach to the game, and this past season at Glenbard West proved just that. A lot of her game is tied to her athleticism, which shows in the open floor and on the boards. So far this spring, she has also shown the ability to stretch the floor at a high rate. As her perimeter defense continues to sharpen, she could be viewed as a 3&D type of player at the next level.

In all my scouting of Glenbard West, Ellie has been a fun watch. This is a player that blends strength and skill together and it’s helped the Hilltoppers succeed this season. I’ve seen her used in high and low post split actions as the hub and decision maker and for the most part, cashing in on her decisions. She can be a screener and add indecision to the defense because she can roll to the rim, pop, and play out of the short roll, being an advantage maintainer as I like to call it. Ellie can also play with her back to the basket using her strength and touch to score the ball. The 6’0 forward not only has the strength, as I said above, but she also brings a nice wingspan to that end as well. There have been a good amount of examples of using that wingspan while staying vertical at the rim when covering for teammates.

West will not be an easy team to beat at all when the playoffs kick off next month, and the top of everyone’s scouting report will be Noble. She’ll be a major problem on the offensive side, but she also has the defensive skill set to win a game if the offense is tough to get to. She can guard 2-5, and has no issue guarding the 1 if the possession comes to it. She has the length, the muscle, and also the awareness to know when to react without fouling. She can be your paint blanket or cover the perimeter.

Noble has become one of the top prospects in this class regardless of position. From a frame standpoint, she has the collegiate build and the agility and athleticism to pair with it. Skill wise, she can be effective from the perimeter, but can throw her muscle around near the painted area. She has a great foundation of skills to build off on. Major upside.

I love Noble’s size, athleticism, and what she brings to the team on both ends of the ball! Finds the open teammate for good looks at the rim, and she has the ability to shoot anywhere from outside, or post up on the block. Love how she protects the paint and rebounds!

From a defensive standpoint Noble will be making a clear impact for the Hilltoppers this upcoming season. The thing that has stood out to scouts is her ability to be active on the perimeter just as much as the paint. She has speed, size and length that can’t be taught and it was on display from start to finish of the showcase.
