Expert Analysis

Over the past year, Thulin has been one of the most improved players in her class, and she is still nowhere near her ceiling. Coaches already know what she can do with the ball in her hands, so this offseason the focus will be on how she impacts the game without it. The more she continues to show value in those areas, the more complete her profile becomes. High ceiling player with plenty of growth still ahead.

One of the most sought-after players over the past couple of months for this class. Thulin’s versatility as a scorer and an off-ball playmaker is what intrigues colleges are intrigued about. She has a college frame, and the coachability is a huge plus as well. A couple more mid-majors to high major offers could come in before the end of the HS season.

Thulin has emerged as one of the more highly coveted prospects in this class over the past year, and the offers are starting to stack up. She has always seemed to be a leader in the Downers Grove program, but as an upperclassman, more responsibilities will follow, and she’s up for the task. This could definitely be an all-state nomination type of year.

There are a lot of players in this class who have had a strong summer, but Thulin’s summer came with a significant number of offers, and even a Big East offer to follow. Speaking with coaches across the D1 level, this kid is on everyone’s radar, and it’s not hard to understand why. She’s a competitor with a strong skillset. Each year that I’ve watched her play, she’s shown more confidence and a deeper understanding of how to play and be effective in this game.

was a big play maker during her teams first W of the day against the
All Iowa Attack
. In overtime Thulin hit a big three from the top the key and then follow that possession up with a great bounce pass to the post for an easy bucket at the rim. This type of game never comes down to one play. No matter what anyone says but these two plays definitely tilled the momentum of this contest in the favor of the
Wolverinas
. That’s for sure.

Thulin is one of those undercover prospects that most college coaches would love to have in their program. She seems to have an extremely high work ethic and covers almost every aspect of the game at a strong and solid level. Another one of those players who could actually benefit and get even better at the next level.

Thulin has been bringing a ton of attention to her name over the past couple of years, and the stats have barely anything to do with it. Thulin simply just knows how to play the game, and when her offense is not falling her way, she is the type of player to adjust and impact the game in another way. With the Wolverinas having a busload of talent, Thulin coming on will bring so much more than the offensive piece. Excited to see how she adjusts to a new role and situation.

Thulin has complete body control and plays the game with an amazing sense of pace and awareness. She is smooth and patient with the ball. Throughout the showcase, she showed her ability and comfort moving without the ball in her hand. She makes quick decisions and doesn’t get frazzled when doubled.
However, defensively is where Thulin poses a significant problem for many teams. She’s lengthy and active, with a strong sense of awareness that plays a major role on this end of the court as well. A ton of potential is there.
