There were 45+ players, split up into 5 teams, that went out and gave it everything they had competing in 3-4 contests throughout the day . Below I am going to give my evaluation of each player on Team 1 and how they look going into the high school season.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
#485 – Jordyn Crosman Jordyn Crosman 5'4" | CG Ogden | 2026 State IA – 2026 – 5’4 – PG – Ogden High School
An extremely talented guard that displayed her shifty moves and quick thinking on Sunday was Jordyn Crosman Jordyn Crosman 5'4" | CG Ogden | 2026 State IA of Ogden. Crosman maybe short but her game is big. She is a three level scorer, with a fast dribble and an act for scoring near the hoop after she mixes up her defender. Crosman was a big impact last season for her high school team and I expect that role to grow even more this upcoming winter. With everything I saw on Sunday, Crosman is the type of player that can only be stopped by getting in her own way. When she keeps it simple, she is well-rounded.
#492 – Addison Kruse – 2025 – 5’8 – CG – Waverly-Shell Rock High School
Addison Kruse would be defined as a combo guard in the sense that she could move between the 2-3 spot, depending on what is being asked of her. Kruse stands at around 5’8 but rebounds like a maniac. She has a high motor with a good sense of the game and what to do, when. She has some lengthy arms that help her score while going to the hoop against smaller guards a good majority of the time. This winter will be one where Kruse is on the floor a lot. If she can make the most of her opportunities, you will be seeing her name a few more times before the Playoff’s come around.
#511 – Morgan Mann Morgan Mann 5'7" | SG Humboldt | 2025 State IA – 2025 – 5’7 – PG – Humboldt High School
Morgan Mann Morgan Mann 5'7" | SG Humboldt | 2025 State IA comes into this high school season as a diverse playmaker for her team. She still has the ability to move between the 1 and the 2 spot at any given time throughout a contest but her team is at its best when she has the ball in her hands and she is running the show. After coming off of a nice AAU season with Pure Prep, Mann has some D2 interest from the college level. I think that she can ride this momentum into the season and lock in some offers. She works hards so all there is left is to go out and do it.
#512 – Joelle Johnson Joelle Johnson 5'8" | SG Pleasantville | 2025 State IA – 2025 – 5’8 – PG/SG – Pleasantville High School
Joelle Johnson Joelle Johnson 5'8" | SG Pleasantville | 2025 State IA works hard. I mean, she was the hardest worker in the building on Sunday, type of hard. She is always giving it her all out there on the floor and that is something that you can’t teach players. She works to get the best shot possible for herself or her teammates at a consistent rate and will do anything to make that happen. I’m not sure where Johnson will end up when it’s all said and done but if she plays at the next level, that program is getting a steal out of the state of Iowa.
#522 – Tyme Boettcher Tyme Boettcher 5'11" | CG Panorama | 2024 State IA – 2024 – 5’11 – PG – Panorama High School
A competitor with a lot of promise, in her simple game is Tyme Boettcher Tyme Boettcher 5'11" | CG Panorama | 2024 State IA of Panorama High School. Boettcher has nice height and length, accompanied by a fundamental ability to shoot the ball from deep and pass to open teammates down the court. On Sunday it was either one or the other, Boettcher was either coming down the floor and hitting up open jumpers from deep or she was assisting a teammate, that happened to be cutting to the basket. Panorama is going to be back in the state title conversation again this season and a big part of that is being because of Boettcher.
#533 – Molli Rosloniec – 2026 – 5’11 – F – Saint Albert Catholic High School
Molli Rosloniec is one of those individuals that lives near the Iowa/Nebraska state lines so she plays AAU out of Omaha, but is playing high school ball in Iowa. Rosloniec is a positive influence to the others around her on the court while being someone that her team can get the ball too in the right spots. She works hard on and off of the ball, while being a tenacious defender to anyone that is standing in front of her. I think the future is bright for Molli. She does too many good things out there for her team, not to impact each game she competes in and that’s obvious.
#534 – Isabel Kenkel Isabel Kenkel 6'0" | PF Grinnell | 2026 IA – 2026 – 6’1 – CG/SF – Grinnell High School
A player that I haven’t seen a ton of up until this point was Isabel Kenkel Isabel Kenkel 6'0" | PF Grinnell | 2026 IA . Kenkel is a 6’1 CG/SF, with quick movements and a good feel for the basketball. She has really good height for her age, while being a versatile player out there on the court. She has the ability to move between a few spots on the floor and because of this, she has more of a role on whatever team she laces up for. Kenkel has some promise when it comes to basketball. The glimpses of what she displayed on Sunday was impressive and I’m hoping to see more this high school season at Grinnell.
#535 – Loralai Gilmore Loralai Gilmore 6'1" | C Dowling Catholic | 2027 IA – 2027 – 6’1 – F – Dowling Catholic High School
Dowling Catholic is going to be one of those teams this season that I just don’t stop talking about. I don’t know if it’s their system, I don’t know if it’s their players, or if its a mix between both but what they have going on over there is turning into something special. A player that will join them this season is Loralai Gilmore Loralai Gilmore 6'1" | C Dowling Catholic | 2027 IA . Gilmore is a raw talent. Someone who does do some good things on the floor each game, but her ceiling looking forward is what is eye-opening. With being 6’1 as a freshman, it gives a player a good foundation to grow on over their high school years and that’s what will happen here. Knowing the players that are in front of her that she can learn from, as she gets older, makes this situation all the more intriguing.
#538 – Addison Dennis Addison Dennis 5'11" | PF Iowa Falls Alden | 2025 State IA – 2025 – 5’11 – PF – Iowa Falls Aiden High School
Addison Dennis Addison Dennis 5'11" | PF Iowa Falls Alden | 2025 State IA is a handful at the Forward position. She stands at around 5’11, with the ability to spin over either shoulder with her back to the basket. On the catch, she does a good job of having a move in mind. She knows what she wants to do and if the opponent cuts her off, she will pivot into a better look or for an assist to a teammate. Dennis is ramping up for a big Junior year at Iowa Fall Aiden. From what I’ve seen, I wouldn’t be surprised if she is ranked high-statistically this winter for her play down low by the hoop but we will have to wait and see.
