Basketball in the Cumberlands: Week 1

of has been nearly dominant in these 1st few games.  She's averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds.  She's drawing a lot of early attention for her domination of the has been killing in the early going.  Versus Gatlinburg-Pittman, she put up an easy 23 points, 10 rebounds, and hit four 3's.  She's had a couple big games.  The York post seems to have made a real jump heading into this caught word from CC that Wilhite has likely been their best player (at least offensively) in this early going part of the season.  She's hitting shots, she's playing with poise, not turning it were questions coming into the season regarding how Gillies would handle the new duties that would be thrown on her, but she's responded really well.  She had a really good week of basketball, and simply looked comfortable at this level.  Gillies will big time scorer down the came out early this season averaging 16pts and leading White Co in scoring.  Winningham's production around White County's posts was a big question mark for people who really know the game, and
