I really like Brooke’s game- she has the muscle to rebound and score with authority, she plays consistent, and with her senior leadership, she plays a key role in Sycamore’s success! Defensively, she holds her ground and protects the paint. Recognizes when to dish the ball out when the shot isn’t there. Soft touch around the rim!

She is tough as nails! Physical player, sticks to her defender, and does not let up on a single play. When Burgess has the rock- good things happen! (Below on defense)

A strong inside game and doesn’t hesitate to pass the ball to her open teammate. She possesses strong ball handling skills, especially on the low block. She has good footwork, and with that it helps her score over her defender. Her game is continuing to grow and improve. Great wingspan to get some blocked shots.

While Sycamore is finding their identity with some new faces, one sophomore is a player who caught my eye quickly in the opening game of the day. Brooke showed an ability to always be around the ball and plays with a high motor. She is able to create contact on penetration to the rim and can finish. She playsn under control and has good footwork in the paint. Can create her shot.
