There was some good ball played last week and a lot players around the State came to play. In this article we hilight some of these standout players.

[player_tooltip player_id='346885' first='Mikayla' last='Paschal'] came to play last week and she balled out. Paschal averaged more than 20 points per game, but it's not the scoring average that jumps out on the screen. Her length, quickness, speed on the court, rebounding ability, and her ability to put the ball in the basket in a variety of ways all stand out. Paschal came to play.

[player_tooltip player_id='514584' first='Casey' last='O'Connell'] has showed up to play all season and there is no doubting the talent of this young baller. At this juncture, O'Connell is averaging over 25.7 points per game and grabbing 8 rebounds per game. She has the ability to play in the paint and can also play on the perimeter, where she is shooting over 50 percent on threes. She has “stretch-four” written all over her. O'Connell played well during the summer live period and she has continued to garner attention with her special play.

[player_tooltip player_id='346822' first='Lamiyah' last='Hogans'] had a great week on the court and really looked elite doing it. The Shooting from anywhere on the court, the steals and converting them into scores was very impressive and just looks different than most. Hogans's ability to get to the rim, shoot from the theee, and scoring in the midrange stood out. Defensively, her length and athleticism creates havoc on the court. She can defend the opposing point guard, defend in the middle of the press, and can defend in the paint with her shot blocking ability. Hogans came to play.

[player_tooltip player_id='400785' first='Audrey' last='Beyer'] came to play and I was fortunate to witness it in person . Beyer shot the three well and some were from “four-point” range. She had some midrange shots that were nice, too. She scored every way imaginable, including a few floaters and some turn around jumpers off the glass. Defensively, she played aggressively and used her length to disrupt passes on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='664264' first='Zion' last='McRae'] came to play last week. She is a great talent as we witnessed at the PGH 250 Expo. She has the ability to score anywhere in the court, but is deadly when getting in the paint. In week 1 of the season, McRae went for 41 points, and in week 2 she scored 31. It's not just about points. McRae can handle the ball, get down hill, and is totally disruptive on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='349375' first='Morgan' last='Gavazzi'] came to play last week and I was there to witness the performance. Gavazzi was just steady and played well against a few of the best defenders on the first coast in the Blocton sisters at Ridgeview. Gavazzi knocked down 17 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='495942' first='Asya' last='Jones'] came to play last week and had a great stat line with 21 points and 12 steals. Jones is a great scorer and always shows up on the defensive end as well. She came to play during week 2 of the season

[player_tooltip player_id='349438' first='Piera' last='Alexander'] came to play last week and her performance has Orange Park still undefeated. Alexander had a 22 point performance and continues to lead her team and set up others on her team as well for scores.
Alexander's play has garnered some offers on the next level as a result of her performance on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='349326' first='Nykeria' last='Thomas'] had a strong outing with her 15 point and 7 rebound performance. Thomas scored at all levels on the court and played well. Thomas is a a selfless player who could score 20 per night if she chased statistics. She makes the basketball play, and she comes to play every game.

There was some good ball played last week and a lot players around the State came to play. In this article we hilight some of these standout players.
