Delaney Meiser Delaney Meiser 5'9" | SG Sherwood | 2027 State OR is an unsung hero who helped Sherwood win a league championship and earn a spot in the 6A state tournament her junior season. The 5-foot-9 guard is a high-IQ player who does all of the little things really well. She keeps the ball flowing and knows when to make the extra pass or when it’s her turn to shoot from the perimeter. She wins tough rebounds and 50/50s and has a knack for being in the right spot at the right time. She quietly makes simple basketball plays that help win games. Meiser will continue to play an important role, bringing experience (as potentially the lone senior) to a young and talented Sherwood squad next season.

She was a glue player who did the little things that tipped the game in Sherwood’s favor against Nelson. She quickly kept the ball moving around the perimeter to find the hot hand. She knew where to be on both ends of the floor and was a plus rebounder. Role players like Meiser are valuable.

Five-foot-9 guard Delaney Meiser Delaney Meiser 5'9" | SG Sherwood | 2027 State OR is a versatile, high-IQ competitor who is solid on both ends. She ran with Northwest Select in the Select 40 circuit. Meiser can do a bit of everything well. She’s an effective defensive stopper and great rebounder, and she can be trusted to take care of the ball. Meiser earned a 6A Pacific Conference Honorable Mention in her sophomore season at Sherwood and will be a key player in the Bowmen’s success in her junior one. Sherwood will be a contender for the Pacific Conference title.
