. Despite her dad’s success as an All-Pac-12 bigman, Borchardt has been trained as a guard/wing, and when you see her put the ball on the floor, it’s easy to understand why. Her hesitation-cross game is a go-to move to get a step on her defender, and she utilizes long strides to get to the rim in a hurry while doing a good job protecting the ball in traffic. She also brings a toughness rarely seen from players her age; after coming down hard on her knee midway through a game, she bounced back and continued to be all over the court on both ends in a 12-10 win.

is an exciting young hooper in the graduating class of 2030. Borchardt is dangerous in the open court and can get downhill fast for the athletic finish. She has great spatial awareness and makes effective cuts at the right time. The rising 8th-grader is working on her vertical and can already touch the rim. Borchardt received an offer from Stanford in June.

is a top-tier class of 2030 player in Oregon. The Sherwood-bound 7th-grader stood out as a top performer on the court against Pool A freshmen at the Battle in the Emerald City. Borchardt runs the floor at a next-level speed, makes excellent off-ball cuts, and finishes strong at the rim. She rebounds, pushes the pace, brings the ball up, and finds the assist in transition. Borchardt has quick feet and is a great on-ball defender. She beats the guard to the spot, closes out to block the shot, and snags the steal for the coast-to-coast fastbreak layup.
