Washington is a dominating force inside the lane. She is player that all teams need to game plan for. If they don't, it could end up being a rough time. Honestly, even if they do, it could still be a rough time because of how much of a mismatch Washington is on the high school floor. She has the ability to work her opponent inside the lane, at either block, 15 ft and in or from the perimeter. She also demonstrates on a regular basis that she can make free throws at a high rate so fouling her isn't going to help you much. Against Lincoln High on Thursday evening, Washington scored 26 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, poked away 4 steals, blocked 4 shots and her team won 54-36 because of it. This moves the Rockets to an overall 10-2 record with 10 more games remaining for their regular season schedule before the Playoffs begin. If any team wants to beat these guys, they will have to find an answer for Washington because up until this point, it hasn't happened yet.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65a44ccdb3947"} /-->
Players Of The Week

As we tip off the girls high school season throughout Nebraska, there are going to be a few new articles/evaluations that we publish every week during the season, that we have not done recently in the past. One of those articles being our MVP Of The Week and Players Of The Week.

The MVP Of The Week is an individual that displayed what it means to put on a major performance/s for their perspective squad throughout the week. Someone who came out firing on all cylinders and dominated in more ways than one on the hardwood while putting up an eye-opening stat line.

The Players Of The Week are other individuals that were in consideration for the MVP of the week but fell just short in the end when taking into consideration all outlying factors.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
