Painter is only 5’6 as a prospect so that she is putting up these types of numbers is even more impressive. The double-digits in rebounds is eye opening and shows the willingness that Painter has to crash the board. All while being an ample scoring threat and someone that can facilitate for others in the blink of an eye. Ainsworth will look to put together a solid 2025-2026 Winter. If Painter competes like this, that sure will be a good start.

was one of the most efficient players out of the Freshman Class this season at the Varsity level throughout Nebraska. Each game that she took the floor, her team might not have won but they gave it a respectable effort and Painter put up some noteworthy numbers in the meantime. Sometimes you have to trust the process and understand that things aren’t going to come together all at once. This program does some really good things and they put together some complete games this last season. If they can take that momentum and use Painter as a building block moving into the future, they should be sitting in a comfortable position soon enough. There is a lot of positives to work off of here and if they do it the right way, everyone is going to be successful before everything is said and done.
