We continue our look into the 2025 rankings and place the spotlight on the forwards who had the most upward movement in the rankings. In this article we look at power forwards who can hold it down on the inside, and small forwards who are versatile enough to play on the wings and handle the ball like guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='428046' first='Izellah' last='Kendrick'] one of the top forwards in the state in any class. I saw Kendrick at several showcases, and she was the most physical forward in the room. Once she establishes position on the post, she is strong enough to hold her position and score over or through the defender. Kendrick has no problem with physical play in the paint. She can score, rebound, and defend in the painted area. Offensively, Kendrick is so versatile that she can step out and knock down the mid range jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='346885' first='Mikayla' last='Paschal'] is a big time talent who increased her stock significantly. She enters the top 20 in the ranking and is poised for a run for the top spot. Paschal can do it all on the court. She can score at all three levels. In transition, she can handle the ball, take it herself or fill the lane and score. Her rips to the midrange are explosive and very potent. She can also shoot it from behind the arc. This past season Paschal averaged over 20 points and 9 rebounds. On the defensive end she is versatile and can defend on the inside and on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='663685' first='Dayla' last='Christopher'] is a big time talent who made a huge move and will continue to move up in the rankings for sure. Christopher averaged over 12 points per game and close to 9 boards per game. Watching the tape, she is mobile and can really defend. She is a paint protector, and can also defend out in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='346822' first='Lamiyah' last='Hogans'] made a move into the top 50 and that comes as no surprise. The small forward is deadly in transition where she can really score the ball going left or right. She is explosive off the dribble and looks to get to rim as often as possible. Hogans is an aggressive three level scorer. She loves the midrange jumper and can get that shot off consistently. She also has the ability to pull up from deep and shoot the long ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='692895' first='Zy'nasia' last='Alhuzaifi'] made a significant jump in the rankings and the future is bright for this forward. She can score, rebound, and defend. For this past season, Alhuzaifi averaged 14.5 points and 9.6 rebounds per contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='655816' first='Kylie' last='Johnson'] (cover photo) made great strides this year on the court and had a significant rise in the rankings as a result. Johnson was a force to be reckoned with and played with a lot of energy and confidence on the floor. Her ability to take the ball to the rim and score and create her for her teammates was a big part of her game this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='638578' first='Saige' last='McCloud'] has had an impactful junior season averaging over 20 points per game. McCloud has the ability to mix it up in the paint and also can run the floor and score in transition. I saw her at several tournaments in Jacksonville and Gainesville and she has always been the player to make huge impressions. She is crafty and physical in the paint and knows how to score the ball.

We continue our look into the 2025 rankings and place the spotlight on the forwards who had the most upward movement in the rankings. In this article we look at power forwards who can hold it down on the inside, and small forwards who are versatile enough to play on the wings and handle the ball like guards.
