Letting the game come to her was the biggest difference between the two games. After ending the game against Mullen with only 6 points, she ended the half against Valor with 12 points on 3-5 for 8 shooting. Setting the tone for the 2nd half, Damara was able to come out and keep the defense honest by staying aggressive and taking what was giving to her.rn ","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["495915"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Valor punched their ticket to the championship game Saturday afternoon with a win against the top-seeded Cherokee Trail. Win that gave Valor some much-needed validation after coming into the season underdogs. While they plenty of players that have played a huge part in their success none of them were more important than Payton Jones Thursday night. She was the second leading scorer on the team with 13 points on 3-7 shooting from the field. Payton's ability to find holes in the zone was the difference in the game, she showed off her scoring range knocking down shots from all 3 levels of the floor.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":"","_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Valor is a team you can never count out once they make it to the Coliseum. They come in with experience and a shooting touch that always translates. This year they came into the state tournament as the 4th seed and that may have caught some people by surprise but they knew they always had a chance to make a deep run. The performance by [player_tooltip player_id='366427' first='Quinn' last='VanSickle'] surely put those doubts to rest. Quinn came out hot to start the game scoring 8 points in the first quarter including two deep 3's. Every time they made a run Legend matched it. [player_tooltip player_id='216647' first='Hana' last='Belibi'] happened to be a constant player for Regis willing them back into the game with her defensive pressure and finishing at the rim. When your best players give it their all the team usually follows along with them and that is how they were able to get back into the game during the 4th quarter.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["374160"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Legend has had one of the most impressive seasons with 24 wins which is a record for girls' basketball. Along with their first-ever trip to the Final Four, which ended with a loss to Regis. [player_tooltip player_id='374160' first='Mason' last='Borcherding'] was the catalyst for this team's success, and it didn't stop in the Final Four.
