[player_tooltip player_id='728686' first='Brooklyn' last='Cawley'], Nitro, G, 5-7, Fr. - [player_tooltip player_id='728686' first='Brooklyn' last='Cawley'] takes good shots. All the time. There isn't a time or place where you will catch her taking a bad shot. She understands the flow of the game and her position in the game. She does a good job of creating space for herself and moves well without the basketball for a freshman. She can shoot the 3 ball. If there is one thing that I would like to see develop, I would like to see her be more aggressive at getting to the basket. As she is a 5-foot-7 freshman, there is a chance she's going to grow more and will need to add more to her game as she gets older.

[player_tooltip player_id='728687' first='Mika' last='Adams'], Nitro, PG, 5-4, Fr. - [player_tooltip player_id='728687' first='Mika' last='Adams'] is a competitor. Mike drop. Nitro's sparkplug loves nothing more than a good basketball game where she can put her body on the line and rough it up a little inside as she leads from the 1 spot. She shows great anticipation on the defensive side of the ball - someone who can draw multiple charges in a game. She can make all the passes you would want from entry passes in the post to bounce passes, to tough passes. She's the kind of kid who will make the small play that wins a team a ball game.

Abbi Baker, Wyoming East, G, 5-8, So. - Energy, energy, energy. Those three words describe Baker's game to a T. If you want a smart IQ, always moving without the basketball, and someone whose always looking to cause trouble on the defensive end player than take a look at Baker. She's fearless on the court. She's not afraid to make her defender work as she's always looking for a better angle or better shot. She has the speed to take it to the rack. Overall, she projects as a hard-working, hard-cutting, and always moving guard who will never lack for scoring opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220990' first='Macey' last='Bertram'], Cameron, G, 5-3, So. - Bertram knows her defense. Not just any defense, though. We are talking lockdown and throw away the key defense. Oh yes. She is great at taking players best assets away and really limiting her defender in a game. She is scrappy and forces a ton of turnovers. She's not afraid to get on floor. Offensively, she has a nice shot and is finding her place on the offensive end of the floor. For a great example of her defensive prowess, look no further than the Class A state title game against Gilmer County. Matched up against a future Division II point guard [player_tooltip player_id='379515' first='Allie' last='Ellyson'], who had been causing Cameron all sorts of problems early in the game, Bertram went toe-to-toe with the Titan and match Ellyson defensive move to offensive move. She moved her feet well, showed great anticipation, and did not allow Ellyson to turn the game in Gilmer's favor late in the fourth quarter.

[player_tooltip player_id='867102' first='Ella' last='Pinkney'], Lewis County, CG, 5-8, Jr. - Pinkney may be one of the most underrated players in the state! That's just a fact. She's a great leader - one who does all the small stuff it takes to win a basketball game. She can reliably guard 1 through 5. She's a sneaky good shooter from anywhere on the floor. Oh, she's a natural leader on the floor for the Minutemaid. Any coach who may need a do-it all player should definitely take a look at Pinkney.

Anabelle Haught, Williamstown, W, 5-8, Jr. - Haught will be a kid who is stuck between the 2 and the 3. She knows how to play defense and she never gives up on offense, but she's not going to be a teams top scoring option. Perhaps, that will change next season as Williamstown will need more from her in her senior season. Personally, I would like to see her move a little bit more without the basketball on offensive before I officially give her a position. She has a nice wingspan and is a high energy kid. Those traits will definitely help her should she go on to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1217547' first='Lucie' last='Hatcher'], Morgantown, F, 5-10, Jr. - Hatcher has a very high potential to be someone who is going to help a college at the next level. She's a big body and is skilled for a center. She could average 8 and 6 as a defensive force in her senior season. What do I like best about Hatcher? She's a strong kid who performs her job with glee. She doesn't care that she's looking for boards on the block and getting easy put backs. She's more than happy to rip the ball down and go right back up with it.

Brooklyn Cawley Brooklyn Cawley 5'6" | CG Nitro | 2027 State WV , Nitro, G, 5-7, Fr. - Brooklyn Cawley Brooklyn Cawley 5'6" | CG Nitro | 2027 State WV takes good shots. All the time.
